My wife and I have just returned from a four night stay at the Concordia Hotel. The Hotel is clean and the internal decoration is OK. We were in room 202. The hotel has 5 floors and terrace on the roof. The room is facing to the street. Although the windows have double glass for isolation passing cars in the street can be heard in the room. I read that many hotel's room in Rome have a problem of noises from the street, however the street of the Concordia is a small street and just a few cars were passing by during the night so this was not so bad.
In the room we have a mini refrigerator with beverages in extra charge, a safe that is locked with a key, not by a digital combination lock, a small old TV with several channels but only one channel in English that was the CNN. We had air conditioner in the room that we could turn ON and OFF and this was helpful for us. The bathroom has a shower niche, hairdryer and clean towels.
The location of the hotel is very good within waking distance to many tourist places at the north side of the city. Near by there are restaurants, McDonald, Ice cream shops and not far from the SPANGA Metro station.
Breakfast was served in the basement. The tables were covered with maps helping a lot to the warm feeling in the small nice breakfast room. The breakfast is an upgraded continental breakfast in addition to the standard croissants and coffee offering yogurts, a few fruits, sausage and roll bread, however one morning at the time that we came for breakfast they were running out of croissants.
The stuff was helpful. The reception desk made for me the reservation for the airport shuttle. There is no luggage room however after our check out we could leave our luggage in the small lobby.
All the spaces in the hotel are very small lobby, room, bathroom, breakfast room, spiral stairway, elevator that fit for one person with a small bag, all these are a very compact.
I have chosen to stay in the Concordia hotel base on reviews that I read in Trip Advisor prior my trip to Rome. I can agree that the 200 Euro per night that we paid is an expensive price with compare to many other hotels in the world or even in Italy but Rome is different in this manner, so at this location of the city and with Trip Advisor rating of #58 at the time of my reservation, I couldn't find another choice in a better price.
