Good location, very near Cavour Metro and you could easily walk around to all major sites with the aid of map given, apart from Vatican which is a bit further over the river. Breakfast was typical continental I suppose, quite sweet and not what you'd be use to in the UK, the selection wasn't that good either, cornflakes? looked like and sweet bread, croissants and cakes and yoghurts.Lady in the dining area didn't seem that friendly either, stern and didn't seem to like the British, that's the impression we got anyway, breakfast dishes we noticed were dirty on the last morning there. In contrast to this, there was a lovely girl on reception when we arrived and on duty in the daytime, very friendly and helpful, spoke good English, pleasure to speak to. Hotel room was small, but servicable as a base, bathroom very small, all Italian tv, but watched some of it and tried to make sense of it and thought it was funny, got by and made the most of it. There is a sewrage smell in bathroom at times, but then again it was peak summertime and the street drains smell the same. Overall would probably recommend for the money as long as your aware of what to expect.
