My husband and I stayed at this hotel quite by accident. We had booked into a B&B that we didn't stay more than one night in, then we booked a deal with a sister hotel to this one, but they were full so transferred us to the Chateau Blanc.
It's so newly refurbished, they were still putting the finishing touches to it! The staff were very friendly, and security conscious as they checked we were residents when we were going up to our room each time.
The rooms are immaculate, safety deposit boxes in each room, and a mini fridge. The beds are big and comfortable, and each room has a flat screen t.v. and is tastefully decorated.
The only downsides - there is no restaurant on site, so we were directed to a cafe across the road which covered the Breakfast - it was disappointing - just a coffee and a croissant. The bathroom had a tendency to smell of cigarette smoke - not sure if it was coming in through the ventilation from another room. But we reported this, so hopefully something may have been done.
The rooms were tasteful - yes, they had been decorated slightly on the cheap, with pictures and soft furnishings coming from Ikea and the furniture didn't look particularly robust.
However, the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff easily make up for this. The rooms were also remarkably quiet and of a very good size - not something you usually get with hotel rooms in Rome.
