This hotel really surprised me after the unfair review that was already posted on this site. The hotel room was really superb, it was very quite at night (quite a feat in Rome city centre). The bath was a hot tub. The staff were very friendly. Though the breakfast was basic it had good coffee and english tea in a tea pot!!! Also all the tourist attractions were in walking distance! It is the best place for couples I think.

This hotel was very conveniently located, right near the heart of Rome - the Spanish Steps. It was also conveniently located near the metro station which can get you around Rome in a jiffy. The accommodations itself were clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy at night, but anyone who has travelled through Italy before knows that's not uncommon. The breakfast room was not an a terrace with lemon trees, by the way...it was in a small stuffy room, and as is typical of European hotels, breakfast was not that subsantial. Cappuccinos were great though!

Skip this hotel! We just returned from traveling around Italy and this hotel was certaintly the worst of our 2-3 star hotel accomodations. The staff was universally unhelpful (have you eve heard of a hotell that refuses to recommend a restaurant?!) Moreover, we had to beg and plead for a wake up call and were given a bit of attitude when asked for a new map after misplacing ours. Though the location is great and rooms aren't soo bad, the service dampered the experience.
