When we booked this room we really did not imagine what awaited us.
When we first got there, we colud not find the hotel due to it's tiny little entrance, not to mention the lobby, which does not exist. there isn´t not one small sign that indicates that your are in front of a hotel
There is a front desk followed by stairs, which were another problem because, in fact, the hotel had no elevator and they had no rooms available for us in the first floors, and we were 7 people, my two daughters, my two nephews, my sister and my mom, who is in no age to climb up three floors by stairs every time she wanted to go to her room. On top of this, we were never given previous notice about this condition, even though I spoke to the hotel about the reservation numerous times. Moreover, the hotel receptionist did not even bother to find us rooms on the lowest floors, what is more, he even shouted at us when we asked him for some directions and recommendations for our stay in his city, claiming that he was not an information service.
They refused to change our sheets and our towels, even though we had made some changes in our rooms.
Breakfast is served until 9.30 and it is very poor, if you are lucky, you get to eat 2 croissants, and if the maid (the same one who cleans the rooms, and does everything there) is in a good mood, she even gives you two coffees!
This hotel is very noisy, we were unable to sleep at night because the windows in our room didn´t close, and also you hear the guests that get angry because of the lack of services the hotel offers.
There was another one of the hotel's facilities that did not work properly: the bathroom. One night, my daughter and my mother woke up and stepped foot on a puddle of water; it turns out that the bathroom had flooded overnight. Of course the staff didn´t care, we had to clean the room with the towels.
Besides, do not get me started on the staff they had. A combination of rude, easily-annoyed people, led by the worst of them all, Giusseppe, who would shout at us with no mercy whatsoever, unaware of the fact that every time he opened his mouth, he was mistreating us. One would think that he disliked us in particular, however, that was not the case. One night, my mother and one of my daughters, who shared a room, heard someone shouting, and went downstairs to find out what it was about. It turned out that the quarrell was between Giusseppe and a handicapped lady, who was forced to use the stairs to get to her room in the second floor. (not even first floor)
On the other hand, the one postitive thing that really stands out, is the hotel's amazing location, which allowed us to go almost everywhere on foot.
