“Very good all round”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

We stayed for 4 nights in the quadruple room which is located in the next building to the main hotel. We found the hotel to be perfect for our needs and is well situated to the main sights and to bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in going back.

We stayed at the quadruple room w/ kitchen (annex). at 110. euros per night. Less than 24 hours of our check in, we got an email stating that there was a problem in the hotel and that they would be moving us to another hotel. Then they sent another email saying that everything is now ok, and we should check in at the original hotel but we did not receive this email as we were already en route. It was all mixed up and no one even apologized for the inconvenience.
This room is not in the same building as the office but on the side street just around the corner (Via Napoli). There was a small kitchenette w/ "garage sale" type kitchen supplies, but no pots or even a kettle to boil water in. Bathroom was small and shower had lots of mold. Cleaning lady did a good job w/ cleaning and replacing fresh towels. Please beware, this room is not suitable for family with small kids. The window opens but no security bars to prevent falls. This room is on the 4th floor. Very risky. Internet was off and on. A/C was good but the weather was not too hot when we stayed here.
Best part is the location. Walking distance to the Metro, both the Repubblica and Termini. We walked to all sights except Vatican. Good Italian restaurant on the main floor that is also open for breakfast w/ good coffee and pastries.

After we got our keys and paid our bill when we checked in, we never saw any staff again so I can not comment on their service but with our experience with the hotel emailing us about the change, I don't think that service would be good. We got most of our info at the Tourist Info booth about 3 blocks down on Via Nazionale.

Very good place in the center. We took a room for three and it was away from the hotel in an office. The room service is not so good. We got four keys to several gates , you have to pass them until you get to the room and it was not comfortable .The location is very good next to Termini station in in a few moments of walking you can get to Piaza. Venes.

I enjoyed the assorted bruschetta starter and the lasagne main. My wife also enjoyed her food. But service was really bad, lots of staff, not many customers but we were neglected, ignored sometimes and service was not friendly either

We got a great deal at £69/night for a twin room. On arrival we were a bit concerned that because the hotel was on a main road it would be noisy of a nighttime, however this wasn't a problem as the windows were soundproof! Most of the well known sights were in walking distance, apart from to the Vatican which was a 10 minute ride from the metro station about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The only negative was that the room was very hot at night there was an aircon system but it wasn't very effective.
Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, the price and location were perfect, I'd definitely recommend it!
