“Excellent little place for food and a drink”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

We were really impressed with this place. It is cosy and homely. The owner was very nice and offered up some great recommendations. A great offering of fresh produce: cheeses, meats, fruits and veg. It is ideal for lunch or a small dinner as it is all made by the bar by the owner (so salads, mixed platters of cheese and meats, for example). The wines on offer were all very good and he has a very good collection of rum and whiskey too. I would recommend making the effort to go there.

“Best quaint bar! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

Last night in Rome and we found this little gem! It's such an amazing place and the owners are so friendly! A local spot that you can sit and relax after an intense Dayton sight seeing. They were also giving us recommendations on where to go, what's good to eat, and so forth. They even have local beer that are named after famous streets in Rome! It's definitely a place to visit if you visit the area.

“Relaxing Cafe Near Vatican City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

Very nice little cafe only a few blocks from Vatican and Saint Peters square. Good drink and food selection, jazz playing (not too loud) on the sound system, and air conditioning - a welcome relief during the early June heat wave. On a quite side street away from the more touristy restaurants along the bigger main streets. If you are looking for a relaxing break from the crowds at the Vatican, this place is it.

Great tea selection it reminded me of Tea Time in England. Great service, the staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Great wines and food, amazing choices. So far the best place we visited in Rome.
