“Brilliant Location to explore Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

La Maison del Corso is in an excellent location for sightseeing around Rome, it’s near to the Metro and bus stops although many of the “must see” sights are easily within walking distance. We found our room to be comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean, and the staff to be both friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not what we would eat at home, but we didn't expect it to be. There was plenty of choice and one morning we were offered a slice of delicious home-made cake that was as light as air. I would agree with a previous commenter that a kettle would be a useful addition to their kitchen equipment for making tea as the water for a perfect cup of tea needs to be boiling but that is perhaps just a British point of view. The free WiFi was very helpful as it enabled us to look up anything we wanted to know that wasn't covered in our guidebooks. The only downside to the superb location was that occasionally we wanted to buy some fresh fruit and salads to make a simple light lunch but we couldn't find a “normal” grocery store – however I am pleased to say we did come across one eventually, a Carrefour Express in Via Vittoria, five roads along on the left. We also took advantage of the taxi door to door pick-up and drop off at the airport arranged by Adriano which was well worth it as it didn't cost very much more than the train fare and was much less stressful!

If you are going to Rome, I can really recommend this B & B.
The location is great. You can walk to all major sights and the Metro is nearly outside the door.
In this B&B you'll meet so much kindness. The owner, Adriano, is always ready to help you (and he speaks fluent english:) His starff is so kind and helpful....and I really have to mention, that you each day will have a good breakfast in their cosy kitchen (wich you will not normally have in Rome's B&B's)....and that Daniella every day delivers homemade cakes...yummie :)
I stayed in the B&B's apartment. Everything was perfect and I had all the privacy I needed incl. a totally fantastic terrace.

Just returned from a lovely weekend in Rome. La Maison Del Corso is perfectly located for exploring the city - especially amazing for shopping. As the other reviews mention, breakfast is basic, but with fantastic restaurants close by, lunch and dinner certainly make up for it. Highly recommended.

La Maison del Corso; it´s perfectly located on Via del Corso, one of the main streets of Rome, a few blocks from Piazza del poppolo, Piazza Spagna and glamorous Via Condotti and Via Margutta.
This B&B is located in the 3rd floor of an antique and very exclusive building. Adriano the host is a very friendly person and has an impecable customer service, he got us picked us up from the airport and was always available for suggestions and advices to where, when and how to go everywhere in Rome. Our room (number 1) was very spacious, very nice decorated and spotless with tons of storage space and sound proof windows.
I can´t said enough about how glad I am with our stay there, I was a little concerned because it didn´t have many reviews or pictures on Trip Advisor... that´s the main reason I´m leaving my review, this place needs to be taken under consideration when you book a place to stay in Rome if you are looking for quality, service and confort. You will not regret it.

Room Tip: Our room was number one, very spacious and comfortable, classy decorated and you will have a lot of...

Recently, my family and I visited Rome and stayed at La Maison Del Corso. Firstly, the hotel is fantastically located, close to all the main attractions of Rome/train station/restaurants/retail shops. Not only that, the room itself was beautiful, very well maintained. Additionally, the customer service offered to us by the owner Adriano was truly impeccable. He was very helpful, attentive and just a phone call away at any time of the day. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay in Rome was pleasant and we have everything we needed. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for accommodation in Rome to stay in these wonderful apartments. I know it'll always be my go-to when I visit Rome again.
