“Exceptional room after a full day of Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013 via mobile

My experience with Fabio and Home @ Rome began a couple of days before I arrived with a confirmation text and phone call to ensure someone was there to greet me. When I actually arrived I was exhausted from an early flight from London and immediately sighed relief when walking in that huge front door, I expected less and was surprised when the room and bathroom was neat as a pin, the water was hot and the mini bar had a cold beer in it for me. Coming back to my room every night after walking the endless history that is Rome was so lovely that I just can't imagine what my trip would of been like without Home@Rome. Thank you Fabio, I will come again I'm sure.

Kindness beyond what is usually expected, clean room, nice decoration, near Basilica St Peter.
Direct access from Railstation Termini with Bus 70 which stops in front of this small but well cared after hotel.
As Rome was full for Pope Francesco I was only able to stay one night at B&B home. However Fabbio (the landlord of the BB) did his best to find me a good place to stay the following night, another bed and breakfast (also very nice), via Andrea Doria. Fabbio took my luggage all the way to Via Doria so that I did not have to carry them! Isn't this a true gentleman! The room I had had a nice balcony which you would certainly enjoy during the summer, sipping a drink from the minibar. There was also a safe (should one stay a long time in Rome).

A note for Americans, at the Vatican, everything should be paid cash, no credit card are accepted, so should you visit the vatican, make sure to have sufficient cash with you.

I spoke to a friend of mine who said to me, should we visit Rome together this time, we would stay by B&B Home@Rome. Nice coffee, freshly made orange juice and brioches at the bar in front of the bed and breakfast in front of the hotel.

There is a flight of stairs (7-8 steps) before you can reach the lift, so this could be a bit difficult for a very handicapped person.

Nota per Fabbio: Arrivederci Fabbio, ci vediamo presto.

Close place to Vatican city but far enough from crowds, in an area well served by public transports (metro and bus), restaurant and pubs. The staff has been very kind since the beginning, contacting us as we booked our stay. Once we arrived they also gave us a lot of tips and suggestions to enjoy Rome at its best. Daily and efficient cleaning service, large room and beds, fresh stuff and furniture due to their recent opening and fre wi-fi..., Can not ask for more considering the price!!!

Tiny, clean, quiet and friendly B&B! Breakfast at the opposite of the street and very good. Cheap and fresh Tramezzini to take away :-) 10 min walk to vatican city and good acces to metro or bus station. Fabio (the owner) is very helpful and friendly. We were a group of 6 and we all can recommend B&B Home@Rome to all travellers!

Excellent location, a rennovated B&B, with a quality of a 4-star hotel rather than a usual B&B. Very clean, spacious room and bathroom. Nice quiet sleep although in the city center.
Easy access to metro and bus. I strongly reccommend it to everyone travelling to Rome!!

B&B was very nice and clean. Staff spoke English! They gave good suggestions on food and transportation. Location is a bit further away from all of the sites, but great value for the price! The neighborhood gives you a bit more of the Roman experience vs being in a totally touristy area!
