“Great Location in Rome”

Based on reviews in Tripadviser we chose the Forty Seven Hotel in Rome for a 3 day break at the end of November. Overall the hotel was excellent - great location near to the Forum and Colleseum.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room which had great space and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was good and the evening meal in the hotel was excellent although would have been quite expensive except it was included in a special offer we got (3 days b&b plus a dinner).

Service was good although the hotel was very quiet when we visited and on occasion we felt a little isolated.

Best feature is the rooftop terrace and the location. Would recommend for a city break where you want a location to walk to all the key sites in Rome but don't want the usual "chintzy" Italian hotel style.

“Fourth Time and Still Love It”

This was our fourth time staying at the Forty Seven Hotel and when we go to Rome the next time we will be staying there again. The rooms are luxurious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent, the common areas modern and comfortable, but the one thing that seems to stand out above all is their signature mark of SERVICE! From the time we checked in until we checked out, the staff provided the best service available anywhere we have stayed. If you are looking for an outstanding exerience in the heart of Rome, this is the place.

“Great location to sights”

The hotel was in great location, within walking distance to the Palantine, Colosseum, Tomb of Unknown Soldier, etc. and the bus to the Vatican was right in front of the hotel.

The rooms were spacious, the bathroom big with enough counter space for your toiletries. The rooms are clean and the hotel was surprisingly somewhat eco-friendly.

We stayed for three nights to ceebrate our silver wedding,and we were very pleased we chose this hotel.We were told on arrival that we had been upgraded to a suite free of charge. We had a lovely terrace area overlooking the city,and fortunately due to the warm weather we could enjoy a drink there, after a hard days sight seeing. The bathroom was spotless and the bed was very clean and comfortable.Breakfast was good, a lovely fresh fruit salad,bread,continental meats,cereals,pastries, and also a hot selection.We would definately stay here again.

The hotel is a bit pricey, but very nice if you can get a good package. I'm not sure it would be worth paying full price, but if you get a nice deal the hotel is very nice, clean, and well located. The dinner upstairs was very good and we actually enjoyed the breakfast - a rarity for a European hotel breakfast. Nice, big, clean bathroom.
