Not a terrible place but there was a huge set back for us which was that the water heater was broken!!! We were in a group of 4 so you can imagine what a hassle it was. We had to contact management a couple of times and they seemed to have come in during the day to fix it however it kept breaking and in the end we just thought it wasn't worth it and ended up boiling water ourselves and having sponge baths for 3 nights! (Lucky I had a sponge haha!)
We also ran out of toilet paper after the first day, which probably shouldn't happen if they had taken into account how many people were going to be staying in the room.
There also weren't that many kitchen amenities for a self contained apartment.
The distance from the center of rome was a bit far. It looks pretty close on the map if you've never been there before but once we were there it took us about 20 minutes every day to get into the center of the city. If you're not fussed about travel then it wouldnt be a problem.
Pro's about the place would be the supermarket downstairs! It made it super convenient for us to stock up on food and TOILET PAPER!!
Also, if you are travelling in a group that were not completely comfortable with each other, it might be a bit awkward for you to get to the bathroom since there was only one which was attached to one of the room.
Its quite a nice little place despite all the setbacks and we felt like we were locals when we stayed there. There was a security gate out front so the place seemed quite safe.
All it all, besides the little things, and the hot water heater being broken, we still had a lot of fun in Rome since essentially we were there for the experience. The owners were very fast to respond and did try to help. If you are not fussed about accommodation this place is great value for money.
