We went on a Saturday night for their one seating at 9:30PM. From the moment you walk to the front door of the Supperclub, which in itself is hard to find, you know you're in for something special. For starters, you have to ring the doorbell at the massive wood doors in order to get in. Once in, You'd be hard pressed to find a more eclectic place to wine & dine. The staff managed to be very avante-garde but somewhat friendly at the same time.
Once inside, you typically order a drink and check the place out until you are individually seated in one of two "dining rooms". The dining rooms are adorned by huge white couches/beds that you take off your shoes and lie in while waiting for dinner. It can get a little cozy since you're sharing space with complete strangers. Meanwhile, a live DJ spins a variety of house music along with a huge projection of constantly changing video art displays on the walls.
The food is light and comes in waves. Artistically displayed, and certainly not filling (maybe not abad thing since it is so late by the time you actually get to eat ~ 11PM). But in general, the food is good. Everyone in the dining room gets served at the same time and you get no choice of what to eat, but they do ask if you have a special diet you adhere to.
While eating, and in between courses, you are "entertained" by live performances. On the night we were there, it was a quasi-dancer with a porcelain doll mask that slowly danced around the room. Later it was a tall, beautiful girl with an incredible voice. Apparently once the four course dinner is finished, the place turns a little more clubby, but we left before that started.
The downside to the place is the LONG wait between courses, maybe 30 minutes at times. Some people were starting to fall asleep in the comfy beds. Bottom line, this is certainly a cool place to check out. But you wouldn't want to make it a regular thing (maybe they cater to tourists?).
