“Excellent location and very helpful friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013 via mobile

This was our first trip to Rome and I'm so glad we found this hotel.
From arranging our transfer from the airport to providing excellent concierge service by Elena.
Hotel Raffaello made our stay and experience in Rome very memorable and provided me and my wife with an enjoyable place to start out from every morning and return to in the evening.
We are planning another trip to Italy and will definitely stay at this hotel again.
My wife and me still talk about our experience with all the staff at this hotel and how much we enjoyed staying with them
Also I want to thank them for the great room we stayed in.
I didn't get to thank all the staff that made our stay so enjoyable , so I like to take this opportunity to say thank you on behalf of me and my wife
Hope to see you all soon
M.Carlito

Thanks to the ever gracious and helpful staff at Raffaello Hotel in Rome. It's a small, well-maintained property with a warm welcome. The rooms are very clean and nicely set out. It's quiet and the beds are good. We'll be back.

Room Tip: Some of the bathrooms are poorly laid out and the showers are small - check before you unpack.

Located on Via Urbana, parallel to Via Cavour, but away from the noise. This hotel is close enough to Termini station so that you can walk to it, but is completely away from the grit one finds closer to the station. Walking distance to all major attractions.

We had a superior room of ample size and with a private terrace. This was obviously a plus. This is a very traditional and pleasant European style hotel The staff is very accomodating and helpful and the breakfast buffet provided changes daily and is delicious.

I would definitely stay at the Raffaello, again and recommended highly.

Made me fee right at home in Rome. Very quiet and easy going little hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and good coffee! Also a great location between Termini and Colosseum. All in all, a memorable stay.

Room Tip: My room was on the quiet side street (2/16 - single room) but rather small.

Recently spent 5 nights at the Raffaello Hotel. Elena, the concierge, is a gem! She gave us all the tips on how to avoid the queues at the colosseum and Vatican City and was spot on every time! Her choice of restaurants was also excellent and nothing was a problem for her. She should be paid more! The breakfast staff were also extremely professional. Most polite and breakfast was of a most pleasing standard. The front desk staff were most friendly and patient with our extremely bad italian! Overall, this hotel is conveniently located, it is clean and well presented, and their staff is its biggest asset!

A perfect location near the Termini train station! Spacious room. Wonderful breakfast! The front desk staff had great recommendations for dinner!

The room was very comfortable! The only reason we didn't sleep great one of the nights was because the noisy hawks were hunting pigeons!

We stayed for five nights in early October and were very happy with the hotel. The hotel is decorated in period style and has a very pleasant atmosphere to it. The room was a good size with a large bathroom. The bold colours were great. I really felt like I was in Rome! All was very clean.

The front staff were fine and good at giving directions (although a few could be a little impatient - In Rome, it takes some time to figure out the streets). They had great recommendations for restaurants in the area.

The breakfast buffet was the best that we had in Italy, with lots of choice and very pleasantly presented, and we were greeted and assisted by a very nice lady. Coffee and tea were available all day. There is a vending machine for water, other drinks, and snacks.

It was easy walking distance (5 to 10 minutes) to Termini Station, Santa Maria Maggiore, and San Pietro in Vincoli, The Colosseum was maybe a 15 minute walk. It took 20, 25 minutes to get to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The Vatican can be reached by getting the Metro at Termini. Nearby there are small stores if you want to pick up wine or food items.

Room Tip: We had a great room facing the street. It was very quiet.
