Stayed here for 4 nights in Rome. I thought the location was great, its right near Campo Fiori, and near Ponte Sisto so you can go to Travestere for dinner at night. Were told by the hotel staff the locals go out to eat in these area, so we did for 3 nights and had great dinners very reasonably prices (as opposed to the horrible tourist trap we went to near the spanish steps on our first night that the guide book suggested). We had a room facing the back so it was quiet and had no trouble with noise from the street or from neighbouring rooms - we could hear prayers and singing in the evening from a nearby church though which was rather special! The room was large, but not terribly luxurious- we paid 295E/night and as its my first time in Rome i dont know if we could have done better or not for the money. Breakast was not great - croissants were terrible which is odd seeing as its right by the french embassy and i had read that visitors to the embassy would stay here! The jam was great though. I would suggest skipping the breakfast and go to any number of the nearby cafes for much better food - although I liked the coffee here by husband wouldnt drink it as he thought it was too strong. The staff were ok - not terribly helpful wrt restaurants etc though. We did get a limo to the airport through them which was great - got to the airport at breakneck speed in a lovely airconditioned cadillac vs the run down taxi we hailed on the way there!!!
