My mother and I stayed here in mid August. The hotel is in close proximity to the Termini stations and also within walking distance to most monuments. As previously mentioned, be aware that you will have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to the reception desk.
The people at the front desk were welcoming and we were able to check into the room 2 hours early.
The room was a a good size for Europe and also clean (room 506). The room opened onto Via Principe Amedeo and was very noise at night. This would have been overcome with air coniditioning but our room did not have any which in 40 degree heat was not tollerable at night.
The bathroom was small (as are all bathrooms in Europe), but was clean which is ulimately what you want. The shower was very small and you turned the tap off each time you turned around in the shower.
Breakfast was what we expected (and were not disappointed) - breads, meats, cheese, yoghurts, etc......
All in all a very basic, clean hotel (at the lower end of the 3 star rating). I would definately request a room with air conditioning.
