I stayed in the Milo Hotel for 3 nights. I found the hotel staff extremelly helpful and friendly. They have a map of Rome in the lobby, which is always really handy. The room was very clean and had a little mini fridge for your own drinks if you wished to have something cold. They also had a free safe, which is always a plus for peace of mind. The shower wasn't great but they gave you free little sandals to wear if you wanted to for hygienic purposes, which I found really cute given that I never like walking barefoot in places other than my own house. In summary, I would definitely recommend given that for the price and location, you are getting good value and I would certainly recommend Italy... I fell in love with the city... can't wait to go back!!

Hotel is a five minute walk from the Roma Termini, and a 10 minute downhill walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and other ancient sites. Perfect if you are taking the train into town or from the airport. We came in from Florence by train and took one of the twice an hour trains to the Rome Airport on the way out. The room was large, clean and had a tile floor. Bathroom is roomy with the cube shower that can be kinda tight. Breakfast was tasty and the staff friendly. A lot of other tourist hotels in the area, with restaurants abounding.

This hotel was only a few streets from Termini but I really wasn't concerned. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was good too and there was a TV in the room. The staff were good. The restaurant next door Elettra was brilliant: the waiter spoke most languages and was very friendly; and the food was excellent. I would stay again.

We have just come back from 4 nights in Rome. I must say I read some reviews on here and was a bit put off(but had already booked!) but all I can say is some people are too fussy.You are not gonna get 5* for the price of a 3*. We were realistic and not disappointed at all!The main things we look for is clean (cleaners fantastic,always smiling and doing their best to chat and room was always immaculate!), comfortable (massive bed,power shower) and safe (area was nice enough,free safe in room,and you have to buzz in and out and leave your key). Location was fantastic for getting around, breakfast had a good choice and plenty of coffee! All in all for £40 per room a night I'd say this was a bargain! I haven't commented on Rome itself or restaurants etc but if anyone would like any info please feel free to contact me!
