I have just returned from a 2 night visit from the Bianca. I travelled with my partner and mum & dad.

I have to agree with other reviews, it is very centrally located, but in need of a bit of a face lift.

However, it wasn't dirty...maids clean everyday, and the breakfast was fine.... the coffee was strong but i was glad for the boost!

Ask for a room on the front and you'll get a fab view of the main station.

Hotel is very close to the railway termini making it a convenient place to stay
I would say if you are travelling on a budget use this hotel if not stay somewhere else there are lots of other hotels in this area
We had room 36 at the front of the property overlooking the street
But also above the TV lounge so a little noisy
Also as the Station Termini is just accross the street you can here the tannoy in the early hours
Air conditioning in room was a waste of time as room was huge with high ceilings it was very hot
Shower was fantastic although took a little while for the hot water to reach us
Towels were good size but were like cotton sheets very strange
they did what they were supposed to do
The bathroom was as stated in earlier reviews more of a wet room, watch where you put your feet, don't cover drain or you'll flood the room!!!!
Breakfast was edible don't try the rolls if you have delicate teeth
Cake was nice but for breakfast???
Coffee is really strong stand your spoon up in and the milk was hot
Staff were friendly, reception is on the second floor, the lift is tiny room for three people

  • Liked — Comfy bed
  • Disliked — Bread rolls and coffee at breakfast
  • Tips/Secrets: — Get a weekly bus ticket to see the sights it works out cheap

The hotel was very close to the train station and we did not have any problems with crime. The selling point for us was not the room (which left a lot to the imagination) but the fact that the second time we came to the downstairs door they recognized us and rang us in without us having to ask. They remembered our name which is not something that you find very often. Even though breakfast was just coffee and bread it was good coffee and very good bread. I did leave with a few bug bites but the bed was comfortable. If we were to go again we would stay. We suggest that a trip to Rome should be at least 6 days long and if you can go during the Easter holiday it pays off. Culture week was the same week as holy week and all of the museums and ruins had free admission which was great because the lines were very very short. Keep in mind that this was not only for Rome but for Florence too. Also make it a point to visit the catacombs they are worth the trip out of the city and the area surronding the catacombs is beautiful. San Callisto was wonderful. Do be aware though that the beggars are numerous and very pushy especially in Rome. The metro had a good number of police officers present but it is still not as good as the tube in London or in Paris.

Went to stay in this hotel for five days with my husband and 2yr old. The location was excellent with the little one as so close to the station and airport transfer buses. The rooms were very dated and basic and the bathroom was a section of the room partioned off....bit strange! It was clean, the bathroom was (I think) supposed to be a wet room, but the toilet, sink and bidet were all in there together leaving them all wet after showering and not very nice to use the toilet. The towels were like tea towels so I'd take your own and breakfast was rubbish. Overall I don't think I'd stay here again as I'd wnat a little more luxury next time in Rome, but if you're on a budget then there are no complaints.

I only stayed 1 night - May 4 at Hotel Bianca as I just needed a hotel very close to Termini, which it is -- about 2 blocks from Termini. Room was good sized, decor very dated (think 1950), not the cleanest room I've ever been in (and I'm no Martha Stewart). There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, which I found kind of odd. Overall, it was kind of depressing, but thankfully I only slept there for one night. It would have been nice to have 1 channel of English language TV (like CNN or BBC), but for one night at 75 Euros, I survived. However, I would not recommend it for more than 1 or 2 nights.
