There were 4 of us staying in the room. We were at the front of the hotel with NO AIR CONDITIONING on a street where apparently no one sleeps, ever. There were cable cars going by and vespas at all hours. It was impossible to sleep. We requested to be moved to a room at the back of the hotel which was infinitely quieter. It was still a dive. The bathroom was tiny and the "shower curtain" was more trouble than help. The bathroom floor flooded. I had read other reviews before I left (unfortunately too late to change my hotel) and had brought towels from home which were a lifesaver. You had to be in by 1 am or they would lock you out of the hotel. Breakfast was a joke of hard rolls and coffee. If you want any kind of concierge service whatsoever, do not stay there. Basically do not stay there unless you are looking for a hostel because essentially, that is what it is.

terrible experience in that dirty thing
i am really surprised how this thing is called hotel
extremely dirty rooms
no tv
no air condition
the towels were pieces of bed sheet
toilets not cleaned
most of the rooms are located on a very very noisy street and as you can understand during night we could not close our eyes........
gosh, it was completely unacceptable........terrible terrible..........be aware of the photos you see on the websites...........the rooms are not that fancy.......watch out guys out there.......terrible
pay a little more and get what you deserve for yourselves............the place you live on your vacation is something that will follow you when you think of a place you visit.............unfortunately for me and my friends we talk about the terrific roma and we get nervous when we think of this damned staying at this thing.............

Clean bathroom and linens but carpet was filthy. One mirror (bathroom). Lobby looks fine but this hotel is a dump!

WE have just returned from a lovely week in Rome, to be fair when we booked the hotel we were struggling for accommodation and all reviews read were not favourable.
Clean towels were not available unless asked for, rubbish bins were emptied and left in the room. the shower has no curtain and flooded the floor. could have been cleaner. I wouldn't stay again but it wouldn't put us of Rome.

I have just got back from spending 4 nights in Rome at thia hotel. First impressions wern't bad as the lobby area was quite quaint. After spending a considerable amount of time trying to find the place, our room was not ready. We arrived at 12.30pm! We then had to put our cases in the dining area (which everybody does whether leaving or arriving) and go and find something to do for an hour til it was ready. When we did get in it, it was very depressing. There were twin beds for my husband and I and a single for my daughter. They were clean. But the furniture was old, tatty and very dusty. The wardrobe was not too clean inside either. The shower was old looking but clean and servicable but the water went all over the floor tiles and was very dangerous. The walls looked as though they hadnt been painted in decades and the floor looked as though that hadnt been hoovered for weeks. The curtains wouldnt have looked out of place in a D.S.S hostel (believe me, I've seen them!) and when my husband tried to open them, the pole fell down on him!
There was only one mirror and that was in the shower room so we had to keep moving it to the nearest working plug socket every morning so me and my 14 year old daughter could get ready to go out. There were no pictures on the walls, no TV, no tea/coffee facilities. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything going on in the other rooms.
It is very shabby. The continental breakfast was a joke. A bread roll, a portion of butter and jam and these packs of Bertonni biscuit things which were more like french toasts. Nice for a start but soon gets really boring. The choice of beverage at breakfast was chocolate, coffee, tea or milk which was actually ok. The staff arn't very friendly.
The road the hotel is on is VERY NOISY every night. The italians just sit there and beep their car horns all day! We never got much sleep at all.

I did do this holiday on the cheap as we didnt intend on spending much time at the hotel, we were going to use it as a base but as the weather was not at its best for a couple of days we did end up spending longer than we had anticipated in the room. I will not be doing anything on the cheap again. Just in case.
