We booked through a local travel agent, but this place is totally appalling. In short, it stank, was noisy, furniture was broken, but most of all, it was unsafe. The bricks around the door frame were loose - it had obviously been broken in to before. There's no air conditioning of any description, but we dared not open the windows due to security issues.
The lobby area is shared with another 'hotel' located on other floors of the building and featured some suspicious characters.
The shower (calling it a "shower" is being nice) was a serious of undirected single spurts of water coming out at different directions!
Needless to say, we couldn't sleep that night and left the next morning. We called our travel agent to tell them about this appalling experience and they (the agent) gave us a refund for the second night - I'm not sure if the hotel would have given the agent a refund, but somehow I doubt it.
For the same price (130 euro) we moved to a much better place called Hotel Aberdeen, which was nearby (also close to Termini station).
