Having read many reviews on dirty & expensive hotels in Rome we were very pleased that we found this hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights and the hotel arranged to pick us up from the airport. We then used public transport, bus & metro to get into Rome each day, (1euro.)
Transport system & Language could be a problem for some, however we got buy with the help of a guide book from our local libary.
The hotel was excellent, very clean, free internet a bonus & great brekkie each morning! Also it was great to get out of the city each day!
We visited;
Day 1, St Peters,
Day 2, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum
Day 3, Vatican Museum
Day 4 Catacombs of San Sebastian & Crypt of Capuchins, (4000 monks bones used to decorate a crypt) near Barberini station
Nothing is within walking distance, except for shopping centre and small cafe & restaurant, but the bus is cheap and stops almost at the hotel! Largely a residential area.
Highly recomended to people used to catching buses or with cars!
Its very popular with Italiens & Europeans!
