Location is ideal - only 5 minutes walk from Termini railway station. Don't be fooled by the antiquated, cage like lift ... the staff are friendly, rooms clean and breakfast very good. Luggage storage is also available.

I've stayed there twice now and can't complain. For what you pay, its a great little place which is nice and clean, basic and with good italian breakfast. The reception guys are a friendly bunch and speaks good english. The place is quite central, esp to the Termini train station. There are a few cafes, a closely supermarket and even good restaurants down the road (one called "Vincenzo").

Good hotel. We found that the staff during the day were not that helpful. The guy at the desk at nights was the most helpful I have ever met and made staying here so worth while. The breakfast was good too.

About 5 minutes walk from Termini station, this little hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, and is very convenient for walking into the city centre or for the Metro stop or taxi rank nearby.
Our room was a little basic, and some things were a bit worn around the edges (showing its age a bit), but the bed was very comfortable, we had everything we needed, everything worked, and breakfast on the top floor was good and plentiful.
Great value for money in a rather expensive city.
The staff were very friendly and helpful...nothing was too much trouble.
If we return we would certainly consider staying here again.

It is close to Roma Termini station, about 10 minutes walk. Room was decent and bathroom was clean. It is also walking distance to many Rome attractions. The only problem is not many store nearby or they tend to close quite early. It is good to have your dinner first before returning to the hotel.

Room Tip: If you are on backpack or not many luggage with you, you can walk from Termini station to the hotel...

Stayed at the Hotel Stella between 29/9-2/10/14, Basic hotel, very clean and staff very friendly, good location for all the sights, however the breakfast was terrible, although only continental breakfast, not much selection, and had to ask for stuff when they run out, very lax in this area, rooms OK, but very odd towels, they were like tea towels, this was OK for 2 nights stay.

This is a quiet unassuming small hotel to the North East of the city. The room was sparce but very clean, the bathroom was also very clean with clean towels every day. There was no Tea/Coffee making facilities unless you paid for a Superior Room so if you go for standard take your travel kettle with you. Continental breakfast was excellent. There were good resturants within a few yards of the hotel. The Rail/Underground station is only 10/15 mins away. The hotel has 24//7 portorage so no problem if staying out late. As I stated the hotel is unassuming but has clean room/bathroom and breakfast is great and staff most helpful. would stay there again.

Room Tip: If you want Tea/Coffee facilities go for the Superior room.
