My partner and I stayed at this hotel during the new years eve weekend and where very impressed at the service and room we recieved.

The best thing is the location, it is perfect to view all aspects of the city - everything is in walking distance and if that poses a problem the metro is 1 min from the hotel.

We had a large amount of correspondance from the hotel prior to arrival, my partner was trying to arrange a special restuarant for new years eve and they emailed back with loads of information.

We arranged through the hotel for a taxi to pick us up at the airport (45euros) he was waiting with a sign as we arrived and they also arranged a taxi back to airport for our very early flight. On arrival at the hotel they give us a map of the city and drew the best places to visit and where a wealth of knowledge.

We found our room to be brilliant - I had my reservations from other reviews but it was so clean, good size and very warm, the heating seemed to be on all the time with a bonus underfloor heating. Our towels where changed very day and room cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast was typical continential and set you up for the rest of the day ( no frys for the hunger people, but we found we didn't need it).

I would return in a shot to this hotel and would recomend it to anyone - it is not your 5 star but is small romantic and very italian. We found the staff to have been so helpful and friendly and really added to our enjoyable trip.

A very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful "English Speaking" staff. TheTrevi fountain & The Spanish Steps, are literally a 5 minute walk.

'That's Amore' a very good restaurant 2 minutes from the hotel and near to the Trevi fountain. 'The Albert' a British pub - home from home with friendly staff

Be careful when using the Metro as I had my purse & mobile phone stolen out of my bag (they cut a hole in my bag-i did not even notice)

  • Liked — Cleanliness
  • Disliked — The steps & the lift
  • Tips/Secrets: — Be careful with belongings when out in the town, pickpockets everywhere!!

This was our second time in 2006 in Fellini BB. It was just great both times. You are in the heart of Rome. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is continental, great coffee - esp. Cafe Late. Very big plus +++ Going there again.

The staff at the Fellini was very nice and informative. The rooms (we stayed in 3 different ones over the course of our visit) were clean and comfortable--not luxurious, but perfect for a tidy, nice place to crash at night after being out in the city all day. It is not full service, so don't expect that, but for a B & B it is quite above par. I highly recommend it for people who want a good clean place to stay at an affordable price. It has a very central location--right near the Trevi fountain area--and a lot of places are within walking distance. It can't be beat for location and price. I'd suggest booking directly with the hotel itself.

  • Liked — Clean, great location. Nice, friendly and helpful staff.
  • Disliked — Getting switched around to different rooms. Some beds comfortable, some not.
  • Tips/Secrets: — Book directly with the hotel.

Spent 3 nights at the Fellini Inn in Rome with 2 couples in 2 double rooms. The rooms are a bit small, but nicely appointed with comfortable beds and clean, functional baths. Our corner rooms (305 & 306) were on a busy street corner but with the triple-paned windows closed and A/C on no street noise was audible. The location couldn't have been more convenient with a 10 to 25 minute walk to any and all tourist attractions. We made comfortable walks to Trevi, Pantheon, P.za Novella, the Colliseum, and St. Peter's/Vatican.

The hotel area is safe and walkwable even at night. For those on a budget I doubt you'll find a more comfortable & affordable spot in Rome! The front desk is staffed from mid-morning to around 10PM (22:00) by Jean Pierre (the owner?), Claudia, and others--all extremely helpful and always willing to answer questions or assist when asked.

Breakfast was only adequate with pre-packaged buns, cheeses, etc but the coffee was drinkable and food plentiful enough to start your day in Rome. Good restaurants were a bit hard to find in the immediate area, but Gioa a few streets over offered edible, affordable fare in a friendly, family style atmosphere. For a higher-priced and higher-quality meal please try "Le Sorrelle" on Via Belsiana (behind the P.za d'Espagna) with a changing "New Italian" menu and scrumptious, hand made desserts.

Overall, would strongly recommend Fellini Inn to anyone interested in an affordable, convenient and comfortable stay in Rome. Booking directly on their website can save you a bit off the rack rate through the on-line services.
