Great location for the train system. We had to plead for an air conditioned room we were willing to pay for. Did really fell safe in the room. Items were taken from our luggage. So if you are looking for a cheap place to stay with an awsome location to here.

The main positive of the hotel is its location. It is not more than two minutes walk from the main railway station. Rooms were large and decently clean.

Breakfast was one of the disappointing factor. However, good value for money.

Hotel was basic but clean and good value for money. We were able to walk to some attractions and the main train station was about a 2 minute walk away. We had read that this area was not very good at night but did not find this at all. The only complaint we had was the breakfast was terrible, even though it was included in the room price we prefered to go out and pay for something decent.

The Romantica Hotel is located just a few minutes walk from Rome's central station, where there are connections to the train from the airport as well as the city's subway system. The neighburhood is dominated by small shops, a few supermarkets and touristy restaurants. Walking to the Forum Romana and Colusseum takes about 15 minutes. The rooms were clean and good for value, altough there was some dust under the bed so if you have any allergies you might have some troubles. The double bed was acctually two seperate beds which kept sliding aprt during the night, which is a bit contradictory to the romance theme hinted at in the hotel name. :) I found the service offered by the reception staff (open 24/7) very good, but the breakfast staff were quite rude. Breakfast is limited to coffee with white bread and jam, so for a more substantial breakfast you are better off hitting one of the cafes in nearby piazzas. Although it is no place for honeymooners I would certainly come back because of its central location and relative good value.
