Over all our stay at this hotel was a positive one, you get what you paid for in this hotel and we didn't pay that much. The only thing that stopped us from giving this hotel anything better than an "average" rating was the rude breakfast staff. On our first morning our waitress took personal offense that we couldn't speak italian and stood there glaring at us until another guest helped us by translating for us. After taking our order she went back to the counter made fun of us to a co-worker, who was equally unhelpful with simple requests (such as asking for milk). After returning for breakfast on our third morning - we didn't bother on the second morning - we noticed that the two staff members made fun of most people they served, some Italian guests even complained directly to them. The fact that we later discovered these two unprofessional staff members had access to everyones rooms during the day (to make the beds) didn't fill me with confidence.

Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.

Other than that complaint, the room was a decent size and clean, the shower was small and the "double bed" was two single beds on wheels on a tiled floor (which meant they moved apart during the night), but over all we were happy with the room as we were out most of the time anyway.

Location was good for getting around town, close to the main train station and buses, it wasn't the nicest of areas but we felt fine about walking around at night.

I wouldn't be too worried if I had to stay there again, but next time I'll try and get a hotel closer to the historic centre of town.

We thought this hotel was great. We stayed here for 3 nights in January. It was right beside the Termini, so it was very handy as the sightseeing buses also leave from here and if you are flying by Ryanair to Ciampino you can get the tickets on board return, this bus drops you the other side of termini.
Reception was very friendly and helpful when we checked in and out.Rooms were lovely and warm the bed was comfy but be warned rooms are very basic. The only gripe i would have was that it was quite noisey early in the morning. and the breakfast wasn't the best so we skipped it and got coffee and danishes in the lovely little cafes in the area.
I would probably stay here again when I return to Rome!

We stayed 3 nights at Christmas. The deal was good and though we were a little worried about the location it was a great stay.
The room was clean and a good size. The bathroom was large enough to house what it needed. The location is close to the train station which is nice so you can catch the metro or bus to the sights. I was worried about what I had heard/read about being close to the termini but I never felt unsafe.
The staff was always nice and helpful which made the stay even better.

Initially upon booking this hotel, we were a bit apprehensive, but when we left Rome, we were very pleased with the hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the area was fine.

We never felt unsafe - as with ALL areas of Rome, it's important to stay aware of your surroundings and keep an eye on the other people, but the Termini area felt no less safe than any other part of town we visited.

The staff was extremely friendly, helping us practice our Italian, offering suggestions of places to go, quick ways to reach a tourist spot, etc.

The room, while small, was clean and had the necessary amenities, including a safe. We faced the street and did not find the noise to be that disruptive - in fact, it was lovely as one evening, a strolling musician stopped at the restaurant below our window. We had free entertainment as we got ready for dinner. Our only complaint was a bit of noise from the adjoining rooms as those guests returned very late after a night of clubbing. We never took advantage of the free breakfast, but based on the comments from other guests there, it was apparently more than adequate.

This is definitely not the best place for those seeking tons of amenities - it's pretty bare-bones. However, it's an excellent price for a clean room in a convenient location. We'd recommend for those on a budget who plan to only use their room for sleeping.

Were worried as it was a cheap option for New Year. But could not fault the hotel. Room was very pleasant with a large bathroom.

Facilities - hairdryer, safe (free), heating you could control (free).
Lift. Reception stored our luggage on our last day.

Having stayed in Rome before (at Welcome Residences), we asked for an inside room looking out onto a courtyard as it can be very noisy in Rome.

No fridge or shampoo and I noticed that you had to pay 10E for air conditioning.

Breakfast very good. Bread rolls and plain coisqoints available - which you do not get in most hotels in Italy.

No Lounge area to sit in. No internet access, but there are plenty of places around.

Very hard to find... turn down by the south side of termini station, walk down and turn left beside the "Champagne Hotel" and the hotel is just on the right. Once you know where it is, then it is very easy and very convenient place (about 2 roads down from station).

Have a great break in Rome. Any advice you need about the hotel or sights in Rome, please ask.
