Were worried as it was a cheap option for New Year. But could not fault the hotel. Room was very pleasant with a large bathroom.

Facilities - hairdryer, safe (free), heating you could control (free).
Lift. Reception stored our luggage on our last day.

Having stayed in Rome before (at Welcome Residences), we asked for an inside room looking out onto a courtyard as it can be very noisy in Rome.

No fridge or shampoo and I noticed that you had to pay 10E for air conditioning.

Breakfast very good. Bread rolls and plain coisqoints available - which you do not get in most hotels in Italy.

No Lounge area to sit in. No internet access, but there are plenty of places around.

Very hard to find... turn down by the south side of termini station, walk down and turn left beside the "Champagne Hotel" and the hotel is just on the right. Once you know where it is, then it is very easy and very convenient place (about 2 roads down from station).

Have a great break in Rome. Any advice you need about the hotel or sights in Rome, please ask.

Basically - what you see on the website is what you get. I was a bit woried before arriving as usually they try to make the hotels look better on the websites, but this one was fine.

It was comfortable, clean and good value for money. Breakfast was decent.

It is about 2 blocks from the 'termini' - the train from the airport takes you straight into this station in less than 30 minutes. There is no need for taxis.

It' a generally safe area although probably not the nicest area in Rome - I think with most cities, the area near the main train stations are not always the nicest. We got lost one night and ended up walkign through a whole lot back, dark and deserted streets and although I was very scared we had no problems.

I would recommend this palce as good value for money.

We loved the location of the hotel, it was a couple of steps away from the main railway and metro terminal in Rome. There's plenty of restaurants around and you could get anything you needed from the terminal station. We also loved the decor and appreciate the good size of the room. The breakfast was descent with croissant, cereal and coffee/ tea.

Our biggest complaint has to be the noise, the walls are way to thin and even though our room faced the courtyard, we heard anything that happened in the hallways. Maybe we had back luck with people staying around us, but we knew exactly when people went back to their rooms and when they left. To me, a good night sleep is extremely important when it comes to hotels, this one drawback dropped my impression of this hotel from ok to just average.

Other than that, we thought the service was very good and the girl at the reception in the afternoon was extremely friendly.

This hotel was better than what we were expecting. I would rate it about 4 stars. We had a room facing the courtyard and it was recently renovated.

The rooms are very clean inside and bathrooms are fantastic. Quite big for european standards so there's plenty of room. If you are travelling in summer, you will definitely need air conditioning and this is an extra cost - so be prepared for that.

Breakfast is typical european, just a coffee and a crossant - you may have some cereal on offer but nothing big.

Hotel is nice and close to the station but in a good area. The station area can be dangerous at night time but the hotel is just far enough away to avoid that. It has lots of restaurants near by and is a very short walk to the main attractions.

I would stay here again. Price is very reasonable for what you get ( we paid 110 euro per night)

We had two rooms to accommodate a family of five. While one hotel room was facing towards the courtyard and was very quiet, the other room was facing the street and was incredibly noicy. The rooms were very plain and basic, the bathrooms were tiny and fortunately fairly recently renovated.

The breakfast was adequate and the girls who served us were not particularly friendly, but that was a minor inconvenience.

We rarely used the tiny lift but walked the stairs up to our rooms. The railings have not been cleaned in a few years judging by the thick layer of dust. Still, the rooms were reasonably clean.

The location was great, only minutes away from the station and very central. We love walking and covered most of the centre by foot from this hotel, including the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and Trastevere.
