This hotel staff tried but couldn't make this property worth any more than a two star.
Air conditioning could not be turned on in mid May in the rooms but the lobby was nicely cooled . The location was not close to anything and the neighborhood was questionable. We were gratefull for the locked gate to the property. Rooms were adequate but nothing that I would recommend.

This hotel would like to be a 4* but simply isn't.

We were booked in for 3 nights but ended up leaving after just 1. We started in room 104 which at best was 2* star quality. It was a reasonable size but was not in good condition. This included blue ink stains spattered up one wall and two cooking rings in one of the cupboards (!!) in addition to wires hanging down from the top. Furthermore the walls were thin - I could hear the guy in the next room shaving in the morning - and our room was at the back looking straight onto the road. Apart from a lumpy bed it was the traffic zooming past all night that kept me awake.

The main reason we left though is that my wife is sensitive to dust and within minutes of walking into the room she had a streaming nose and a tight chest. I asked to move rooms but the hotel was full the first night - the staff advised me to check again the next day.

On doing this they showed us a room around the corner at the front of the hotel which was nicer. The room had wood laminate rather than carpet - which cut down on the dust and was in better decorative condition at least - probably closer to 3* in quality. It also had a view across the green fields in front of the hotel. By this stage however they had started repainting the main lobby which added paint fumes to the mix. So having weighed it all up and given that we were in Rome for a holiday we decided to cut our losses and move location.

Obviously this hotel has some nicer rooms and some not very good rooms and unless you can get one of the better ones you will probably not want to stay here.

Location wise the hotel is a few km's south of the historic centre. It is a 10 minute walk to the Furio Camillo metro station which is a few stops from the central Termini station and takes about 5 minutes. There is also a bus service (the 628) which runs right past the hotel and heads on towards Piazza Navona. There is a small supermarket less than 5 mins from the hotel on route to Furio Camillo which is handy for stocking up on food/drink. Further up Via Cesare Baronio towards Furio Camillo there is also an internet cafe - useful if you decide you want to switch hotel and need to find an alternative!!

Can't comment on breakfast as our lack of sleep caused us to miss it.

bit disapointing - rooms was clean but in need of redecoration (i.e. slightly mouldy shower) but otherwise a decent cheap hotel and the staff were very friendly

whilst its a good value cheap hotel - felt like it had been oversold a bit - buy stating its four star when its definatley not and the breakfast was poor in selection.

on a good note there are some great restuarants locally - for great food and atmosphere at over half the price of what you'd pay int he centre - if you stay her ego to the Restaurante Sud Americano (hotel will direct you!)

and make sure you have a map - whilst only 15 mins walk to metro - v easy to get lost!!

We stayed here at the end of a tour and I was quite impressed. The location was a little dodgy but it wasn't too far out of town and the rooms were excellent. Quite large, and the bathroom was also large and clean. Others had smaller rooms and weren't so impressed but I have to say mine was really good!
