“First Two Nights in Italy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Upon arriving for a tour the Fleming was a welcome site. Although we had to wait for a few hours until our room was ready, they accomodated us by storing our bags. Once in the room, we found the bed very comfortable to assist us in recovering from jet lag although the room was somewhat small compared to what we are accustomed to in the states.

it is not a 4 stars hotel, you should spend one hour to go to the city center. for wifi you should pay more money! the staff were not helpful and around the hotel you can not find any interesting things. no place for running, no park and good shopping center.

Room Tip: it is so far without good facilities

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights under a Cosmos package. We were greeted with a very RUDE group of Receptionist and treated us like we were more of a bother. The rooms are 2 star at best and that is stretching it. The beds are rock hard as they were a Boxspring only. The AC had been turned off so we had to keep our windows open which faced the street and we had to contend with loud drunks from some of the other tours until 1 am each night. When we called to complain after the 2nd night we were told there was nothing they could do and the problem actually got worse as the desk notified the party which room complained! We later received a loud knock on our door from one of the party goers! This hotel is so remote from any Rome sights that it cost $40 in Taxi fees to get out of the area. They only have two very small cafe's across the street and they were the only ones that offered Wifi... the hotel did not. It is people like Cosmos that are keeping flea-bags like this in business! We did have breakfast included in our packages and they were not all that bad and that crew were nicer. Sadly this was just the 1st of our hotel horrors that Cosmos put us with.... People, save your money; do your research! There are better ways of touring this beautiful country. I travel with my job and I NEVER stay in hotels like this and yes I demand good customer service. A smile and information go a long way and never go out of style.

Room Tip: Read your review before agreeing to stay in these hotels. Demand better from Cosmos for your hard e...

I stayed at the hotel as a member with the cosmos group. I found the hotel staff friendly. The room was a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. My friends and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we are ever in Rome!!

We stayed here for 10 nights and the overall experience was barely average. The room was small and the bathroom only had a shower (instead of a bath and a shower that was advertised). Cleaning service only included changing sheets and cleaning the toilet and sink. We ourselves had to clean all the dust bunnies (since we stayed for 10 nights, it would have been nice to have the dust cleaned at least twice; not once that happened). We had breakfast included in our room price and the buffet was just OK. Only one type of ham and occassional bacon was all meat selection they offered. However, if you have a sweet tooth, you will love the desserts section, as they have at least 5 different pies, as well as pastries and cookies. Coffee was quite good as well.
One night some people coming back from town mixed the rooms and entered our room with their own key card. We complained in the morning but did not hear a sorry, only that the lock somehow malfunctioned; they told us they fixed it and that no one else would enter the room with a different card (luckily, no one else tried and we did not have to find out whether that was actually true). The area is quiet and there are a few nice local shops around. It is easy and quick to get to the city center (25 mins to Vatican, 50 mins to Collisseum) using public transport. Overall, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel, as advertised. However, for their price, it is a reasonable option. We do not really regret staying there but will not be coming back.

stayed there with a Cosmos tour. room was tiny and the shower smaller. Staff were rude and not helpful. Air con only work during certain hours and you have to pay for internet. On a very hot day I was told the air con was broken, no other solutions to a small room facing the afternoon sun. Laundry was very expensive to get done. It's not close to anything and I would not stay here if it was my choice. It is also very noisy if you have a room at the front and with no air con you need the windows open.

Stayed here as part of Cosmos - splendor of Italy tour. Ac was turned off in the day but the sun was shining into the room. We felt like we were having a sauna. It does get cooler in the middle of the night but there are lots of mozzies. Receptionist was terrible too when I called to complain about the AC. He lied that he will send a technician up but he never appeared. Don't stay there if you don't want to get snub.
