Central and high speed Internet
A nice hotel to start a walk around Rome. It will take 10 min to get to the Vatican from where you can reach all the central sights by foot.
On the same side of the street going upwards (100 meters) you will find a good pizzeria and a nice inexpensive Chinese restaurant (150 meters). This way you may dine close to the hotel in the evening.
Supermarked the old style 10 min down on the same side.
Fridge. Clean and new towels every day.
Very helpful staff, rooms a bit dark though. Safe.
Easy to get breakfast close to the hotel.
Enjoy a fantastic Rome.

Nice apartments, very very noisy if you are on the street side - probably quieter at the back. reasonably clean. world's smallest tv but then you are in Rome. Not much in the immediate vicinity but a short stroll and there are restaurants, markets and the vatican.

I am travelling with my 14 month old son and my husband ..At first we are very hesitated to bring our son as this is our first time holidaying with a family.. I am quite surprise this hotel had a great clean crib for us ( for free) and we had a nice clean room.. with everyday changing towels and clean floor. Most of the time ,we had our breakfast outside - opposite the Cipro metro station. Dont expect alot from this hotel as it is cheap to book in low season. I would recommend for couples not family with babies (with stroller),,
The only 2 things I would complain is the cold room at night.. even you had adjust the temperature to the highest and the walking distance up the hill with a stroller is very tiring.
Overall it is ok and I dun expect much as it is a 3 star hotel/ apartment with no breakfast provided.

My experience at Residence Villa Tassoni was excellent to say the least. The Villa Tassoni was easier to find then I expected as showing up in a new country and speaking no Italian I was a little concerned about getting lost but I wanted to stay on public transit. Getting off at the Cipro Metro stop and only needing to walk 5-10 min with my luggage was all it took. If I had more luggage, children, or were older I would probably advice a cab from the Metro stop because it is uphill and may be more challenging then I had it travelling alone.

I was greeted by Fabrizio who was expecting me and provide me with all the information I needed about the Residence as well as suggested I could ask him at any time about Rome or what to see and what to maybe avoid. During the whole trip Fabrizio was excellent and seemed very genuine in making sure my stay was a good one. For example when I needed a cork screw he gave me his own from his desk as well he was always friendly and courteous and spoke perfect English.

When I got to my room I was surprised by a few things. One is how large the suite was (2 floors) and how clean it was. This was a very simple room and one must be aware of what they are dealing with when staying at the Residence Villa Tassoni You are staying in a Residence that can be rented for long term or short term stays. This is not a hotel with a doorman, room service and someone waiting on the phone to help you out 24/7 with minor things. What you are getting is a very safe, clean, simple and friendly residence in a great location. Being only 5-10 min form the Metro station by foot and then being able to travel the whole city from there is a big bonus. The residence is inexpensive and has some great qualities provided you know or understand the difference between a full service hotel and a residence. The hot water tank in my own room as well as fast high speed internet (not wireless in all rooms including mine so bring a network cable as they are not easy to find or explain what you want in stores) was perfect. In future tips to Rome I would stay here again and would suggest it to anyone not wanting or needing all the luxuries of an expensive full service hotel.
