We had booked the 'apartment' for 7 nights for me and my husband and our three children aged 14, 11 and 11. The apartment consisted of a room with a folded out sofa bed with an enormous old fashioned television at the end of it (which could only receive distorted pictures of Italian channels). There was a bathroom which was adequate. Off the first room was a bedroom with a double and 2 single beds. The singles had no headboards and were along the 2 walls. The rooms did not look nice, were very dark and there were many marks on the walls. The air conditioning came from a unit at each ot the 2 windows overlooking Via Firenze. They worked but there was a bad smell from one of them. The rooms were VERY small and cramped and this did not meet our interpretation of an apartment. Within an hour or two of arrivinf we decided we could not possibly stay in the cramped conditions for 7 nights. I went out and found a hotel nearby which was complete luxury by comparison (though obviously it cost more). When I told the guy at the desk that we were not happy with the accommodation and that we were leaving the next day he was not at all happy. He said we could not do that as we had booked for 7 nights. I said that now we had seen the 'apartment' we did not like it and did not want to stay. I was very calm and in no way uncomplementary, I just said it was not suitable for us. At this point he rang the owner and passed the phone to me. I had to 'discuss' the matter for about 10 minutes with the owner, who got very upset and tried to move us to a smaller room. I had to be very insistant about leaving and only when I mentioned that my children were very unhappy and I was not prepared to ruin their holiday, did he agreed to only charge me for the one night. We were unable to sleep at all due to the excessive noise from the bar below and the breakfast was in the tiniest room, in darkness as the lights kept going out and the food choice was not impressive. All in all, I would not recommend this to anyone who wants any sort of relaxation or sleep. Beware of the term 'apartment' .

We used the hotel location service at Roma Termini to locate this hotel. For 50-60 euros we were able to get a small-ish room with a nice bed, table, tiny TV, and two-tiered bathroom of a relatively cramped size. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but that could not help the thinness of the walls (making it possible for us to hear everyone in the hall, and for everyone in the hall to hear what we were saying!). However, for just one night, it was a nice refuge from the rain on the day of our arrival.

Complimentary breakfast, with a decent selection.

We stayed one night but we found the it to be perfect for us and in a safe area not far from the terminal. Yes rooms are small but staff was very nice and rooms were clean. For sightseeing and not spending a lot of time in the room it will work for you. Lots of restaurants close by.

This hotel is in a good location. It is walking distance from the trainstation. We also walked to most sights and the metro is very close as well.

The drawbacks were the room's size, which were small. Also the beds were not very comfortable.

All in all, it is adequate considering we only stayed there one night on each end of the trip. It would have been uncomfortable for any extended period of time.

I have been on many city breaks and never yet stayed in a room so small. The location was good and within walking distance of many of the attractions but the room was painfully small. The bed was not a double, more a single and a half and there was a wardrobe and a table that you couldn't sit at as the room was too narrow. The shower was tiny and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed so the floor was soaked every time it was used.
We paid 110 euros per night which for Rome is quite cheap but trust me, spend some extra euros and go somewhere bigger.
The staff were helpful and the breakfast was basic but edible but you really wouldn't want to spend any longer in there than you had to. There was a tv which was mounted on top of the door but due to the size of the room and how high up it was you could barely see it or turn it on with the remote control. The room was also right next to the breakfast room which made it very noisy if you fancied sleeping in. Try somewhere else!
