I originally booked a room in the sister hotel but when I arrived, I was told that they had problems with rooms and that they booked the room at a different hotel (Seiler). I didn't have to pay extra, since there's about 18 euros difference in price for two nights. They even refunded my taxi fair. The location for Seiler Hotel is perfect if you want to explore Rome. It took me around a half hour to walk to Colosseum (I was stopping and taking pictures). It's about a 10 minute walk to Termini station, where you can catch a bus, metro, or a train.
The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. The elevator was working, which was a good thing since I was on the 4th floor.
The room itself could definitely use updating. It was relatively clean but I chose not to walk around barefoot. The tv was not working. I didn't use the fan so I have no idea if it was in good condition or not. I guess you can't really expect much for the price. Bed was comfortable so that's a plus. Keep in mind that noise carries there. I had extremely noisy neighbors. I could hear them talking loudly until almost 1 am.
Overall, an okay hotel. From what I understand, you would have to pay a lot more to have a better hotel, but for the money I paid, I thought it was good enough.
