Nice, small Hotel in a relatively quiet off-street. 5 Minutes walk from main station Termini and/or subway station Cavour. But beware of the old streets which will ruin ladies' shoes and/or the wheels of your luggage! I urgently recommend a taxi for about 8 Euro! - Receptionists very friendly and helpful. City map of Rome available for free. Elevator very small, nearly fits two people with luggage! Rooms are clean and have a Bidet (!) in the Bathroom but no Kleenex! Beds comfortable. TV is tiny but features CNN in good quality. No Internet access in rooms or Lobby, but two Internet Cafés in waklking distance. (1 Euro per hour). Try to get a room facing the back of the Hotel, however it is close to the balconies of private people in the near apartments, thus you may hear children crying and music - but in any case better than the traffic noise in rooms facing Via Urbana.
Positive: Built-in safe in the quite small cabinet!
Negative: Doors of cabinet, bathroom etc. squeaking like in a haunted castle but we did not see any ghost.
Breakfast served in a nice room with an impressive painting of the Vesuvio eruption Cereals, ham, cheese, biscuits. No fresh fruits or eggs but still better than in similar Hotels I stayed in....
Great Espresso, coffee, Capuccino!
No Smoking recommended in the entire Hotel.
