This place is scarry. I've stayed at many hostals in Ireland,
and Italy, and never experienced anything like "Hotel Adventure". The hall/ stair/ elevator are all filthy, in poor repair and dimly lit. The room had no seat on the toilet. I advise anyone to find accomidations elsewhere. There are plenty of places near Hotel Adventure that are cheeper or on par in cost, but have a much better feeling about them.

horrible, horrible, horrible! first, lets start with the area. a shady area on the bad side of town. the type of hotel people rent where girls rent the rooms by the hour if you know what i mean! the people at the desk were as rude as rude could get. our room was filthy and disgusting! rain was leaking through the roof. when we asked the manager to fix it or let us move rooms he said that we had gotten a disocunted room rate off the internet so we should not complain! he hung up on us! the sheets were dirty and the bathroom was horrible. i was scared the whole time. do not go here!

Elevator not very reliable (the kind you see in the 1920's movie). Operated on a first come first serve basis and shared with other hotels in the building. Faster to take the stairs. Good service for breakfast. All you can drink cappuccino for coffee lovers. There is no variety so it's best not to have inclusive breakfast. Terrible housekeeping service. Brought gift & tip generously but found out later she did not change our bed sheets. Advice.. check if you have a clean one! Pull out the tucked away part of your sheet and inspect for any particles. False advertising..there is no FREE internet access. We don't recommend a room with a terrace.Kara

The Hotel Adventure is a rather small hotel. It occupies one floor of a building that houses 2 or 3 other hotels. You check in on the main floor and take the stairs or elevator up to the floor with all the rooms. (The fourth or fifth, I can't remember)

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, (even if you have a lot of luggage), which is a plus, and it's reasonably close to the Coliseum. (Which is why you came to Rome in the first place!)

The best part of staying at the Hotel Adventure is the complementary breakfast served daily. Everything is fresh, and there is plenty to choose from.

All in all, a decent place to stay. The rooms are small but clean and if all you need is a place to sleep and take a shower, (Italian style showers, by the way), then the Hotel Adventure will do nicely.
