We found this hotel on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Vivaldi Suites and our parents stayed at the hotel. Both rooms were just great. Clean, new, great bathrooms, internet in our room, flat screen TV's, great breakfasts. Our parents room (#506) was just awesome, two great patios overlooking Rome! Great location, in the middle of all the sights. The only bad aspect of Rome was the food, just boring and expensive. I would suggest getting out of the tourist area to eat. In the 3 weeks we were in Europe, this was the nicest hotel we stayed in-thanks Trip Advisor!

We picked this hotel by using the reviews on this website. We were not disappointed at all. The Hotel is well run. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Vittoria Suite which is a block away from the hotel. As a family of 5 we need more room than a regular hotel room can offer. The suite was clean, spacious and quiet. We had satelite TV, a lap top and a cel phone to use(it was even programmed with the managers home phone # ). We had a supermarket down the street. Breakfast served at the hotel was good. The staff helped us with local restaurant picks for supper that were always pretty good. We were 3 minutes from the Spanish Steps, 20 minutes from the Forum. We walked everywhere. Rome was great. The Hotel Mozart was great. A big thumbs up from the McKays'.

We stayed in Hotel Mozart (506) for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon in August. We loved the room which has its own terrace! We also recieved fruit and bottle of champagne on arrival. Rome was fantastic and we found the staff very helpful and informative.
We would highly recommend this room and also try Restaurant Upla around the corner - the flan is amazing.

My family of four truly enjoyed our 2 night stay in Rome at the Mozart VIVALDI SUITES before we boarded a cruise ship. I have high expectations of a vacation and I believe that a good hotel can make ALL the difference during a vacation. Staying in the VIVALDI SUITES was the nicest part of our 2 day visit. The rooms were very clean, quiet and it was great to have the laptop and the plasma TV. My teenagers were fascinated! WHATEVER YOU DO IN ROME DO NOT TAKE THE 110 TRAMBUS! It was the biggest mistake, and ruined what should have been a memorable day in Rome, a horrible day in Rome! I only wish the front desk clerk would have discouraged us from going. Not only it is a rip-off, but you are fearful to get off the bus to see the sights, as there are long lines to re-board the bus in the horrifying July heat! I was very disappointed with the meals we had in Rome. I will not go back to Rome in the near future, however I would recommend the Mozart Vivaldi Suites to family and friends. I can't say anything about the main hotel (right off the reception area). I should also inform you that in order to get to one's room you must hike up a few flights of stairs. I did not mind, in fact I much prefer. I did see a small elevator, but it looked to me more like a service elevator.
The breakfast tray that the nice housekeeper's bring to your room is a decent way to start your day. Personally though, I do not like to eat in the room, even after insisting to the front desk if we could have breakfast in the main b'fast area or the rooftop, they still did not let us. They have their little rules about the way they want to run things. Overall, our hotel stay exceeded our expectations. I truly did not know what to expect, as I got the hotel from a previous guest on cruisecritc.com, and then checked out all the good reviews from other guests on tripadvisor...Thank you to Drew who told me about the Mozart.

We were very pleased with our recent visit to Hotel Mozart. We booked 2 triple rooms as we were traveling with kids and grandparents and both rooms were large and nicely appointed. The mini bar was very well priced by hotel standards and the bathroom was large and well lit. It had the feel of a small boutique hotel with lots of charm and situated in a wonderful neighborhood. Breakfast offered enough choices to keep everyone satisfied and the breakfast room was always clean and well attended. We did enjoy the rooftop bar and loved watching the sunset in such a serene setting.
There were also several computers available which was a pleasant surprise. Our daughter was able to catch up on email and my husband could check in with his office.
All in all, we found the Hotel Mozart to be very good. We knew we were not staying in a 5 star hotel but this was a very satisfactory 3 star hotel, much better than some 4 star properties in other cities. It was a very good value for the money and I would definitely recommend it for families.
