Loved the location, the breakfast buffet with homemade goodies, large rooms with great TV options. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous.

Only downside, the staff are very Roman, and I think are a little put out with American tourists and their needs.

Location:
On Via dei Greci, and just between Via del Corso and Via del Babuino.
It is 5 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and the same to Piazza del Popolo.
A perfect location for a visitor to Rome.

Staff:
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Reception staff are very knowledgeable, breakfast staff very friendly and in general everyone was very pleasant to deal with.

Accommodation:
We had room 232. This room faces an inner courtyard and a peacful nights sleep is assured as traffic noise from Via del Corso can barely be heard.
The only view from this room is of the inner courtyard which is not unpleasant. The room is a little dark during the day but this did not worry us as we spent most of our day sigthseeing. It is also nice and cool but also has very effective air conditioning, if you need it.
This room is spacious with a well stocked bathroom. There is a safe, kettle with tea and coffee, flat screen TV with SKY channels. Plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. A phone is also available for use.
There is a stocked mini bar if you need to use it.
Downside: If you want a shower you must hold the shower head in your hand as there is no attachment on the wall for it and no shower curtain. However we enjoyed using the bath instead.

Breakfast:
Breakfast was included in the rate and the breakfast room overlooks Via del Corso. It is a lovely bright airy room and there is plenty of choice from the self service buffet. The staff here are very helpful and friendly.

Other stuff:
There is an elevator (lift) to all floors.
A very nice lounge with small bar, TV and Internet access which is free. Wifi is available.
There is a separate ironing room on the 3rd floor with a good board and iron. The room is cooled with a large ceiling fan.
The roof garden is a really beautiful space and has loungers and also patio tables and chairs where you can sit with a drink or just sit and listen to the sounds of Rome. We enjoyed sitting here in the evenings with a glass of wine.

One tip. If there are two of you staying be aware that reception only issue you with one room key card. If you want a second card you can ask reception for one. We did and it was no problem for them.

Overall this is an excellent hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay there would definitely stay there again.

Vivaldi Suites were perfect for our family of 4 adults 1 teen and 1 toddler. The location was perfect, we walked to every Rome attraction, furthest being 30 minute walk to Vatican but it was a beautiful and easy walk. The rooms were very big and very clean. The staff was amazing and helpful to first timers to Italy. The breakfast was served in our rooms every morning. Over all perfect experience, can't wait to go back!!!!

The reviews of this hotel are mainly justified. Good location, quiet and comfortable room (224) overlooking central well and blissfully away from traffic noise. Welcoming and helpful staff in the breakfast room. Varied breakfast with good coffee if you choose espresso or capucchino. The only "cooked" items were hard boiled eggs! The welcome sign did not extend to one member of the reception staff who has yet to learn that the guests help to pay his salary. The others were fine.
The niggle was about the television. Excellent flat screen. The hotel stated that it used the Sky satellite system. If so, why was it not possible to see the English versions of Sky news, CNN or CNBC. The only English channel was BBC World which must have really impressed the American visitors!! This is not a cheap hotel so there was no excuse for the unavailability of those channels

We stayed at the Hotel Mozart several years ago when we had a wonderful stay but this time chose the Vittoria Apartment for more space & flexibility. In this apartment you can still have breakfast at the hotel which is well worth it, plenty of choice (the home made quiche is delicious), sets you up for the day & kept us going till dinner. The ladies who serve in the breakfast room are lovely.
The Vittoria apartment is very spacious, well appointed & is ideal for a couple. Good sized lounge with dining area (which we didn't use), kitchen, bathroom with good shower (no bath) & double bedroom. I particulary like the fact that there was masses of storage & wardrobe space. It is the first place I have ever stayed which provided enough hangers for me.
There is a dishwasher (tablets are provided), laptop (free use for you), 2 flat screen televisions, DVD player, mobile (cell) phone to ring the Mozart reception if you need anything. Very thorough maid service each day, with clean towels & linens each day.
Strangely, 2 essentials were missing on arrival - kettle & wine glasses. Both were provided immediately on request. The kettle was an Alessi which retails at over £100. No expense spared then!
Apartment is an interesting & tasteful mix of modern & traditional decor/furnishings in a 300 year old building. First floor, no lift, no problem. The location couldn't be better, you can (& we did) walk everywhere. Apartment is opposite the Conservatoire of Music & yes you can hear them practising during the day if you open the windows. Didn't bother us as we were out most of the day. At night it is totally peaceful (I can't sleep if there is the slightest noise), surprising for such a central location & definately a big plus in Rome.
There is a supermarket in the same road towards the Via Babuina, for essentials such as beer & Prosecco but it is also very well stocked if you wanted to self-cater.
The area is very well served for dining options, including some excellent trattorias/hostarias for those concerned about the exchange rates (& who isn't!).
The staff at the Mozart reception give a very good service should you need them. All EMails are answered promptly, which always inspires confidence before you go.
A most enjoyable stay, which made us feel like we were actually living in Rome. We will return to this apartment when we return to Rome next.
