This was a small hotel on Via Tritone which is a conveniently central location to most sites to see in Rome. The room was clean and had a lovely balcony but was very small as was the bathroom; the shower was so small you had to squeeze in between the two door enclosures. Breakfast buffet was quite good with lots to offer. The personnel were helpful and very pleasant. Overall, for the price and location, this was a "no frills" place to spend one or two nights.

We book Delle Region Hotel but 'cos of their air conditioning problem we are move to this hotel.

Staff are very helpful and attentive. We have quite big room here. The decoration of the room is kind of antique. Red Colorful wallpaper, bedding & curtains.
Bed & Pillows are not comfortable but I don't have trouble sleeping after the long day sightseeing.

Breakfast are on the top floor, i would said it was fine deal.

We just got back last night. Stayed four nights in the family suite on the fifth floor. It was unlike anything we had stayed in before. The walls were covered with elegant (albiet old) fabric and it made the rooms seem like something in a palace. The adult room had a large queen bed. The kids room had two twins. There was a small reading area and it had a state of the art new shower with jets. It is the only set of bedrooms on that floor right off the charming breakfast room, so we had lots of privacy. Enzo (one of the many front desk men) was very nice to our kids and answered all our questions with a great sense of humor. The suite cost $250 a night and our friends had a room on the 2nd floor with a large balcony for about $175 a night. We prefer not to stay in "cookie cutter" hotels that could be anywhere in the world. We really liked this old world ambiance.

This hotel was like stepping into the twilight zone. There were four of us who were initially put into a quad room. This room consisted of four beds crammed together with only enough room to place our suitcases on the floor. Trying to move from one side to the other, impossible. Initially, our air-conditioning wasn't working and it was about 95 degrees outside. For a price we moved to a suite upstairs only to deal with construction happening right outside our room, including hammering that sounded like it was coming through my bedroom wall. The staff was rude, arrogant, and few spoke english. It is a great location for a hotel, walking distance from some of the major sites of Rome but the room was terrible, the service was terrible, and the breakfasts consisted of cold cuts and packaged pastries....Won't be coming back to Antica Roma...

Based on other traveler's input about Italy, we expected very small rooms. Ours was a bit bigger and more comfortable than we were lead to believe about Italian accommodations. The bed and pillows were very comfortable - we got a great night's rest each evening. The shower was very small but workable. Our room also had a shared balcony which extended the space a bit and was quaint. The breakfast was simple, tasty and definitely adequate to start the day. For being on a main thoroughfare, the hotel was very quiet . It was within walking distance of most major sites - We walked everywhere but to the Vatican without any difficulty. We would recommend this hotel without reservation!
