Stayed middle of Jan with Wife and 15 yr old in triple room, nice room, large enough to move around, clean, bathroom nice but shower stall very small, could not hardly turn around. It was the size of a phone booth. Noise from the street was somewhat disturbing, earplugs would be advisable. Other guests were noisy when they came in at night and the walls are thin, so be prepared. The train/bus/metro station is only two blocks, so very convenient to all the transportation. If you plan on using the buses, just about all the buses arrive at the main station, right in front of the train station. This was very convenient. For the right price, would stay here again, came on an airfrance vacation and this hotel was included in price. Staff very nice. Breakfast was included, nothing fancy, just cereal and croissants, juice and coffee. Ask for room on back of hotel to avoid the street noise. Beds were very firm!

Great location only a few minutes walk from Termini Station, so very handy for getting to/from the coach transfer to Ciampino. this also means that you can access Rome's bus and underground train network so the Vatican is within easy reach. You can also walk to the centre of Rome in 10-15 minutes all down hill as well.
there are plenty of places to eat near by some good and some not Est,Est, Est was the best we found. just down the street directly opposite the hotel. talking of food the breakfast served in the hotel is a good continental mix, cereal, bread, cheese, pastries etc.
the room we got was small but big enough for what you need no bath though, just a full sized shower. still do you need a big room in Rome because why would you want to spend hours in the room when there is so much to see in the city. the only down side was the paper thin walls. i could even hear the person in the next room snoring at night. so if you are a heavy sleeper you'll be ok, if not take some ear plugs !!!!!

Four friends stayed at this hotel at the beginning of November 2007. We were looking for a hotel that gave us value for money, close to the center of Rome with easy access to the transport system (coach transfer with Terravision from Ciampino 13.50 euros booked in advanced) and in a location that took us away from the hurly burly of a busy capital city in the evening, this we found in the Flower Garden. You only get what you pay for in this world and if your looking for 4-5 * accommodation at the prices the hotel charges you are not going to find it here, but if your doing Rome on a budget, super. The rooms are adaquate, although the bathroom we had was a little on the small side, but clean and it all worked.
Breakfast is your typical european fare, cereal, cheeses, pasteries, rolls and jams with plenty of coffee and tea.
The staff were polite and helped us with all our questions and directions. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the local area at reasonable prices, The Roof Garden Restaurant next door was welcoming and plenty of fun, full of locals, always a good sign in any country. The Washington Bar opposite can be a little expensive. Pop into the bar adjoining the hotel for a beer and a coffee. Lovely. We didn't expect to much, but all four of us were pleasantly surprised. We did Rome and loved it.

I stayed at the is hotel for a week at the beginning of July with my Mum, it was a birthday surprise from me for her.
We enjoyed our time in Italy. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of most tourist attractions; colloseum, trevi fountain, spamish steps etc. Within walking distance were plenty of places to eat at night.

The room we had was a twin room, at first we were on the same side as the main street we can be quite noisy late into the night and from early in the morning. After our first night my Mum explained to the hotel staff that I was pregnant and needed a good nights sleep, they changed us to a miuch better room without any hassle.
The room was clean and tidy and had everything you needed.
The breakfast was very god also, basic yet plenty of choice.
I would reccomend this hotel :)

we stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The room was clean, the breakfast was above our expectations, while the other 2-3 stars hotels serve a little croissant with a cup of coffee in Flower Garden you get few types cakes, coffee, cornflakes, cheese, bread, eggs...
The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location is great: a walk distance from many attractions and a 2 minutes walk from the central train station Termini (so it's easy to reach the hotel from the Fiumichino airport). Via Nazionale , a central street with many shops including a grocery store, is just near by. To conclude, a great hotel for travelers with a limited budget.
