I booked this hotel about 6 months ago via the secret deals on lastminute.com and the first thing I did was come here and check the reviews. At that time they were all really negative and I was really concerned that I'd just wasted a lot of money.
Arriving at Termini Station in Rome should have been exciting but I was dreading getting to the hotel. How wrong those previous reviews were. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff on reception were very very helpful, the room was great with a marble bathroom and it was close to everything we needed.
The only point I would agree with in the negative posts was this hotel isn't really 4*, but could be classed as a good 3*.
When I go back to Rome I would definitely stay here again.

Would rate hotel 3 or 2 star- nice staff, small room, fairly updated/old bld. If you are planning on walking to all of the top sites of Rome this hotel is too far. Overall, it was a reasonable stay for the price; however, beds were not comfortable at all, bathroom shower leaked onto the floor and the water pressure was not great, breakfast was ok and sounds travel.

I booked via the secret hotels deal on Last Minute and when I discovered which hotel it was and read some of the reviews on here I felt a little apprehensive. However, it was pretty good. Its well located 10 mins walk from the station and 15 mins from colloseuim. Rooms are air conditioned and staff are pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was good. Room was a littrle on small size but clean and in good condition. All rooms are non smoking but someone had been smoking in ours and staff moved us, no problem at all. While its certainly not four star it is well worth staying at. Its a fine reasably priced city centre hotel.

After booking this trip as a suprise birthday present I read a few reviews that were not pleasant about this hotel. I was a little worried, especially as it was a surprise. However I could not fault anything. The service was exellent, the room was spacious and very clean. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in a hotel. The location is great as long as you dont mind walking, if you do the metro is just around the corner so you can hop on and go anywhere all day for 4 euro.
The only side that wasnt great was the breakfast, it was ok but nothing to write home about, but there was plenty of choice nearby.
