Stayed there for 4 days and immensely enjoyed the place.
A little bit remote from downtown but everything is accessible by subway anyway.
Staff was friendly. Hotel was beautiful, in a quiet street (a miracle in Rome).
The room was on the small size but this is european standard. Compared to other countries like France, Switzerland, Germany, it was considered bigger!
Nice view from the large balcony over private backyards.
Got a very good deal for this 4 star hotel with a plane ticket combination.
Just one thing to totally avoid: continental breakfast.
The breakfast lounge is nice but the food is aweful. Especially the chemical orange juices that you can barelly swallow.
But Rome is not a place for continental breakfast. Just get outside and enter any pasticeria and you'll treat yourself like a king.
Tip: get a daily/weekly transportation pass. It's cheap and you can circle the town.
When heading for the hotel, get out on Castro Pretorio. The hotel is a 5 minute walk. You could also get out at Policlinico and land just under the hotel (5 minutes too).
