My wife and I stayed here in early November. We were initially booked in the Relais Pierret, the Domus' sister hotel one floor down. Upon our arrival we were shown a slightly larger room in the Internazionale Domus (the Donattelo) with a window that opened up onto the Spanish Steps at the same price! This is not an entirely traditional hotel - a small front desk is open until 9:00 PM each day - but while there I can't say enough about how helpful the hotel staff were. Our room was large with high ceilings - the building itself dates back to the 17th century, but all the hotel facilities are modern. The room furnishings were modest but in good condition and the bathrooms were very clean, large and modern. The location is amazing - front door opens onto the Piazza de Spagna with a Metro station just up the street on the side of the hotel opposite the Spanish Steps. Pretty much everything but the Vatican is walkable from the hotel, which is a 2 stop metro ride. I would recommend the hotel without hesitation.

We arrived late in the evening, but were welcomed warmly and given excellent directions to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Our apartment was well appointed, with a convenient little kitchenette and well equipped shower-room. The furnishings were quite luxurious, echoing the history of the building, and the location was exceptional - very convenient for sight-seeing, right in the middle of things, but by no means noisy. The air-conditioning was appreciated, even in November, as we enjoyed lovely weather during our stay. The staff were very helpful and polite, and the free internet access was a bonus. All in all, an excellent choice for a stay in the centre of Rome - we look forward to our next visit and would certainly recommend this accommodation to our family and friends.

Chose the property for location and the fact that they could offer a comfortable triple accommodation..loved the little kichenette AND the totally complimentary access to a computer...if you bring your own laptop they will actually supply a connection cord so it may be used in the apt...the location is a great plus and we found ALL the management team, Eric, Tomas, Gulia and Daniel to be superb, helpful, considerate and extremely accommodating. Housekeeping was also excellent...when we wanted to eliminate outside noise we just shut the windows..all double paned ...but it was great fun being in the "happening" place !!!
Rates were good for the type of accommodation and location..also they were very helpful with well priced transfers from the airport, directions to restaurants and market (used that kitchenette !!) All in all I was very pleased..

It is with sadness that I will not be able to recommend this rental as I have done in the past.

I booked the Fattori Suite as a returning guest. Upon arrival I excitedly talked about staying there again as I had enjoyed that suite so much. The employee didn't mention anything to me about a change in rooms until we reached the door of another, smaller suite.

When you go on the rental's website you have a choice of 6 apartments/suites labelled by their name, size and price.
You click the booking button beside the room you want to reserve.
You are sent a booking voucher/contract with the named suite on it, under:accommodation chosen, with the size listed, as well.

I was shown to the El Greco, (a smaller, noiser room) and told that this was where I'd be staying.

I refused. I had a contract for the Fattori suite and they were breaking the contract. If I had broke the contract they would be charging my credit card.

We did come to a compromise after much argument, but I am no longer recommending this rental property to others, as I have done in the past because of the manner in which I was treated by the manager on this trip.
