We stayed there March 9 & 10 2004. They have recently renovated the rooms. It is very close to the main train station (Roma Termini) so you can catch a train, subway or bus to anywhere. The staff speaks fluent English and was very friendly, honest and helpful. They recommended a nice restaurant that was close and reasonably priced (Gallena Bianca). It was a nice restaurant 2 blocks from hotel. We enjoyed our meal.For the price this is a great hotel!

The room was great. Large by European standards. We had a private bath (tiny shower) and bring your own wash cloths. The breakfast isn't much but there's a fabulous little coffee shop (bar) downstairs. The staff was friendly & very helpful. They directed us to several great restaurants & set us up for an overnight stay in Sorrento at another great place. We were there for almost 2 weeks and loved the central location 2 blocks from the Termini (train) Station. Neither of us spoke Italian but everyone was kind & helpful. We were there the end of May & the weather was perfect. We want to go back & Hotel Orlanda is where we will stay.

Wonderful hotel!! It is located close to Rome's train station, it was very convenient to find. Located in lovely old building. Staying there in late June 2003 during their oppressive heatwave!! (loved it nonetheless!).

The rooms were really large and spacious, and very clean, with two YES two bathrooms located across the hall from us which were always spotless. The room rates were very reasonable as well. The breakfast was very nice consisting of pastries, rolls, cereals, juices, coffee, with a very nice breakfast host.

It was very convenient to walk or take a train or bus to any of Rome's main attractions from this hotel, such as the Forum, Coliseum, Vatican, musuems, restaurants. Rome is a very friendly public transportation city, but very large place to navigate!! My favorite place in Italy, would go back in a heartbeat.

This hotel is perfect for sight-seeing as it is only 10 minutes from the Colosseum and Roman Forum and within easy walking distance of all the other sites e.g. Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps. It is also 2 minutes from the Termini station which makes travelling to and from the airport very quick and easy. The staff are friendly and fluent in English and are quick to help organise transport for you or advise you about sites and life in Rome. The rooms are very clean and quite spacious considering how this is a budget hotel. Breakfast is adequate and the shared bathrooms are spotless. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and intend to visit it again very soon.
