My husband and I came to this hotel on our honeymoon in November 2008. The hotel itself is lovely, and the nicest in terms of amenities and comfort (of the four cities we stayed in – Milan, Venice, Florence, and Rome.)

Breakfast was not bad, and the hotel itself was very clean. There is free Internet access in the lobby. The staff was not very friendly or helpful though.

One thing to note. This hotel truly is far outside of the city. It is about a 25-30 minute bus drive into the main train/bus station (Termini.) Sometimes, we had to wait for the bus for quite a while. The neighborhood is safe, although at night, I felt a bit out of place. The bus that takes you into and out of the city is very, very crowded all the time.

Given the chance, I might stay here again, just because hotels like this near the city center would cost five times as much. But, if you don’t have much time in Rome, the long commute isn’t worth it. Also, one place to try foodwise…Obika Mozzarella Bar. It was amazing!!! Especially the straciatella mozzarella. This is in Rome proper.

Myself and my partner have just returned from our stay in this hotel. We arrived on Friday 27th February to a very helpful lady who advised our room was not quite ready as we were early but we were more than welcome to stay and wait, however around 10 minutes later the room was ready so didn’t wait long at all.
The room itself was nice, big bed and bathroom quite clean. Unfortunately there was a terrible smell in the room which would not go, possibly the smell of stale cigarettes even though we did request a non smoking room.
After un-packing we decided we would go out and asked the lady on reception the best way to get into the centre, she was extremely helpful and got out a map and put on all the routes to all the major attractions which was really good.
When returning to the hotel in the evening there was a younger man on the desk that was also very nice and helpful, they both made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast was continental, there was plenty to choose from and it was stocked up regularly so this was impressive.
Until leaving the hotel our stay was fine, however when it came to checking out at 6:20am our stay was ruined.
We had extras to pay on our bill which we knew about, a couple of drinks and 5 EUROS for using the safe which totalled 20.50, however the older gentleman on the desk informed us we had 50EUROS to pay which was obviously incorrect. He then proceeded to tell us that this was for the mini-bar which we did not use, which I tried to explain to him and that I was not paying for this. By this point I was getting quite frustrated by how rude he was being, he then continued to shout in Italian at me, he could have been saying anything for all I know! After trying to make a number of phone calls and not being able to talk to anyone he accepted the 20.50 I had put on the desk by just saying “Thank-you & Bye” in general a very rude man, who spoilt the visit completely by accusing us incorrectly of using the mini bar.
I will also be forwarding a letter of complaint to the hotel about the way I was spoken to as it was not acceptable.
If you do decide to stay at this hotel, make sure you check the mini bar is not empty when you arrive!!!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms are very clean and the staff should be congratulated on that, but in our opinion this is NOT a 4* hotel having stayed in some throughout the world. It lacks the creature comforms of a 4* hotel nomatter whether it is modern in looks or not. It is in quiet location but in a built up area, not what it looks like in the web photo. Close by (300m) Busus/Tram do run very frequent all day in and out to Termini, very useful. The room was let down with plastic moulded chairs, disposible cups for tea/coffee/drinks and having to constantly ask for condements like tea/coffee for the room. Four Euro to have room service each time. Bar area is very small with no atmosphere what so ever. Again the breakfast room has plastic moulded chairs. The only lunch or evening meal available is organised by the reception staff which is frozen microwaved food or a carryout. These issues are not staff problems but management problems. A great pitty as alot could be achieved here.

Just got back from long romantic weekend away, we loved rome and this hotel it is perfect. Just a short bus trip away from the city centre. We found the rooms clean an tidy well spacious an all facilities needed wer there towels etc. The Reception staff was friendly and helpful towards us for booking taxis and also giving us guidance of where to go, basically any help you needed you could feel comfortable talkin to them. The only slight negativity of the hotel was the breakfast it was continental which there wasnt much choice an you felt there could of been a bit more variety. I would reccomend this hotel to any tourist though for a pleasant welcome stay worthy of 4 stars.
