We stayed here with another couple and had a great few days in Rome because the location was really central to everything. The room was small however, even though we had reserved a suite for all 4 of us. It probably isnt any different though from other hotels in its class in Rome -- we weren't expecting a huge American hotel. Rome is pretty pricey, so for $300 a night we were paying for the location. They had a nice breakfast in the morning and the staff was super helpful and very nice.

We were pleasantly surpised with the excellent location of this hotel. It is right in the centre of rome - within walking distance to the trevi fountain, spanish steps, piazza del poppolo, tomb of th eunknown solider, the patheon etc etc !!

The staff here were great, all spoke good english, were exceptionally friendly and courteous alongside being approachable. They answered all our emails prior to us checking in straight away and answered all our questions.

The room we stayed in was smallish and without a shower which was a pity as it took stone ages to run the bath every day. However, the decor was very periodic and had all the normal amnenities. It was cleaned by the maid every single day - fresh sheets, clean towels etc etc.

Best thing about the room was the mini bar and satalite tv in english! The worst has to be the very thin pillows and noisy air conditioning. Also our view was of a brick wall and you could hear everything goign on in the next bedroom as if the guests were in our room, for example- you could hear the guests in the next room even opening a coke can!

The breakfast was average continental european (you dont get your bacon and eggs here mate!) but the staff were excellent.

Would recommend this hotel to others as the location and staff make it really really great!!

The Hotel del Corso's location is perfect for a tourist in Rome. The Spanish steps and Trevi fountain are just a few blocks away, and we were able to walk 20-25 minutes to the Vatican, Coloseum, and Pantheon. The hotel rooms were nicely appointed, clean and rather spacious for Rome. The rooftop breakfast was not the best we had on our trip, but they do make a good cappuchino!

We would recommend the del Corso for anyone hoping to see all of the sites in Rome.

this hotel really is in a fantastic location! we only stayed one night but glad we picked somewhere so central. the hotel itself isnt that great, teh rooms arent that nice, although they are clean and you feel safe. the breakfast is average. we had a room on the first floor which was above a shop and so we had music and noise from the shop in our room which was quite annoying. Wouldnt stay here for a longer than one night trip in rome, but for the one night it was great because so easy to see all the rome sights.

Booked a quad room and was told it would have two queen beds. However, upon arriving found one queen and one pull out. Also, the pull out was broken and there was a valley eunning down the middle of the bed making it unsleepable. In our room, the A/C was not working and the bathroom was not clean. The carpet looked old and very dirty and the room in general had a fowl odor. When we asked the only person working at the hotel if anything could be done he said "No, we could get a fan!" We asked for a different room and he said they were full. We then asked if he knew of any other hotels and we were told that all of Rome is booked.

Lucky for us we had family which was staying at a differnt location in Rome and we were able to get a room there. We ended up staying at the Fellini B&B, which was nice, very clean, and charged a reasonable rate. The Fellini was located close to the Del Corsa, which is probably the only good thing we could say about the Del Corsa is that it is in a great area.

I would not recommend staying at the Del Corsa, better hotels exist and Rome is not booked!
