Tripadvisor- please note that this hotel is called Hotel del Corso.

Stayed here for a weekend in early may. I must say this hotel wasn't my first choice but it had been recommended in one or two reputable newspapers. I was also a little concerned by some of the bad comments made by previous visitors. With little time to go before my visit, I decided to go ahead with it and take my chances, mainly in the knowledge that one of the qualities I value most is location and for that this place couldn't be beaten.

Overall, I must say the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were more than pleasant and were helpful to me as a visitor with no real knowledge of the city. The room I was given was fine with all the necessary basics - clean, comfortable, good working bathroom. The breakfast buffet, which other people have criticised, i found was fine for a small 3 star hotel. It is no gourmet, but there is a reasonable amount of choice and good coffee on offer.

All in all, I would recommend this place to people who are looking for a decent hotel in an excellent location who are on a short visit and do not need all of the "frills" that many other hotels provide. My only criticism was that the price I paid I feel was on the high side, but I don't think i could have got much better for my money elsewhere.

We stayed at the Hotel Del Corso for 3 nights during our recent trip to Rome. The entrance of the hotel was very attractive and staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early in the morning and were told our room wasn’t ready yet so we walked around the entire city of Rome and didn’t return until about 6:30 in the evening! There was so much to see. The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s only a short walk to the Spanish steps and walking distance to most other tourist sites around the city. The area it’s situated in is a very classy shopping area with many exclusive boutique shops nearby such as Versace, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Bulgari and many more.

Our room was located on the 3rd floor with a nice view over Via Del Corso. The room itself was very small with a bed, a desk and not much else, however it was quite attractively decorated. The bathroom was tiny and cramped but was fitted out with marble and looked quite nice. The bed wasn’t very comfortable at all and the pillows were flat but we were so tired after walking around the city all day that we slept well anyway. There wasn’t much in terms service or luxury but we understood that prior to booking as the main reason we chose to stay here was due to the central location.

Breakfast was complimentary every morning and though basic, it was very nice. The breakfast room was gorgeous complete with an old fireplace, wooden flooring and cute little tables and chairs. It felt like we were having breakfast in an intimate guesthouse as opposed to a hotel. The breakfast items included choice of coffee or orange juice, cling peaches, yoghurt, fresh bread rolls, brioche, croissants and Italian cornetti (small croissants filled with either jam or custard and dusted with icing sugar) and a variety of mini jam, butter and nutella sachets.

Overall our stay at Hotel Del Corso was pleasant. All the staff members we came into contact with were very friendly and the location was fantastic. I would recommend Hotel Del Corso to people who are looking for decent accommodation in a very central location.

we booked this hotel for 9 nights and realized that made a big mistake when we checked in.
NOISE,NOISE, NOISE - 24 hours , esp at 6-30 in the morning.
We could hear every sound from the next room and it was impossible to sleep well.
Plus , bathroom was broken and room was not really clean.
After 4 days of having non sleep nights we moved out of this place.
Hotel's staff was really good and friendly that I should say.

Dirty upholstry, wood floor popping up, mold 10" up the shower curtain, wallpaper was falling off the wall. No TV service of any kind in our room. Breakfast was awful, nothing of any nutritional value, tiny breakfast room. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Travelled all around the world and this is the worst hotel ever, for any price!

stayed at the Hotel Delcorso 2 nights precruise. Came to the conclusion that this was not a 3 star hotel more like at 2 star and although the location could not be beat( by the Spanish Steps), still feel I paid way too much for these accomendations.
Had a triple and a double. The triple was ready on check in so 5 of us put allthe luggage in this room. Bathroom was very small, no vanity just a sink no where to put toiletries, and there were 2 single beds together and a cot ( not a bed). Air conditioner was almost non existant and it was very hot in Rome, so room was uncomfortable. Double room was much nicer, large vanity and nice decor. complimentary breakfast was a joke, bowls were so small for the cereal lucky if it held 2 tablespoons of cereal, Juice was unrecognizable, very pale yellow, terrible taste. hard boiled eggs, danish and crossaints (decent), lunch meat( it is Europe) coffee was served by an attendent. Again this was served on the roof top terrace, sounds nice however it was hot hot hot in Rome so if you like looking at tiled roof tops in 88 degree weather , the terrace is for you. The hotel reception team were very nice and helpful, as I stated before the location can not be beat, but for the money I think I could have found a better hotel. I will not return if I go to Rome again.
