As a member of a group of nine, on a long weekend in Rome, this hotel suited our purpose perfectly. From the hotel it is easy to reach the major sights on foot, and there are plenty og restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. As the hotel is located on one of the major shopping streets, hold on to your credit card!
The friendly and helpfull staff assists with all special requirements.

Room Tip: Ask for an inside room if you are a light sleeper.

This was my first time to Rome. And before going had a little anxiety what it would be like. However upon arrival after 2 travel days, we were greeted by the most caring hospitable gentlemen. We were sorry we were only there for one night. The location is superb with so much great eating, shopping, attractions in walking distance. I want to let the hotel know that they are blessed to have Ferdinando and Cristian. We compared service everywhere on our trip to how they treated us, and no one else came close. They explained everything to us so well about getting around the city. I will always remember my arrival in Rome and these 2 men who are superb ambassadors for their country. Everyone should be so lucky to check in when Ferdinando and Cristian are on duty at the front desk.
Our room was very spacious too, and the decor was beautiful.
Breakfast was great too, a large variety and yummy coffees.
Choose Hotel Del Corso for excellent cross-section of staff, room, location, proximity to sights, transport, restaurants, shopping.

Hotel del Corso is a beautiful hotel with a great staff and excellent location right in the heart of Rome! Our room had a small terrace that allowed us to have a lovely view of the vibrant Via del Corso, and although we wondered whether or not being on such a busy street might disturb our stay we could not hear any street noises at all. The staff always greeted us with smiles, and were very willing to help answer our questions during our stay. On top of all of that, the location CANNOT be beat! We were within a five minute walk of the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, and we were able to walk to the Colosseum and Vatican City in 30-40 minutes each. We never felt out of reach of anything we were interested in doing in the city, and that was such a comfort.

We plan on staying at Hotel del Corso exclusively from now on during future visits to Rome, and will certainly be recommending it to our friends and family!

Located on Via Del Corso this hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. A choice of 2 nearby metro stops and walking distance to Piazza Navona make this a great location. The guys at reception were fantastic. So friendly and helpful and never too busy to stop for a chat. This hotel had the facilities of a hotel and the friendliness of a small guest house - perfect. We booked a Standard Dobule Room which was so large and spacious I actually asked if we had been updgraded (we had not, this was the room we booked) A nice change to have plenty of space in an Italian hotel room. The bathroom was very nice and again spacious. Breakfast was included and was OK but the breakfast room is tiny (it was winter so the terrace was not in use. Will definately stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

Room Tip: For couples book the Standard Double room - much larger than the small double.

Don't go to the Hotel del Corso. It was not nice in any way. If you want to cheap out and have somewhere to sleep and you are willing to put up with the heat and ants and old falling apart rooms, then go. They tell you they will watch your luggage for the day and then they leave it piled up in the lobby for strangers to open or take. There is not a view of the lobby from the front desk. My mom had ants in her room. Someone came to spray and then expected her to stay there. Our room was hot and uncomfortable. The air conditioning only really worked in the lobby. There is a hot guy that owns/runs the place. That was the only consolation.

Dear Guest,

Thank You so much for choosing our HOTEL DEL CORSO to spend Your holidays in Rome.
I am sorry You had some problems but if you leave crumbs of food in the room with the heat that is outside there may be the possibility that you have visit from the ants.
for air-conditioning we have changed all the machines last summer and it seems very strange that did not work but if You told the problem at our reception, as usual, we would send our maintainer to fix it.
for luggage is ABSURD what You say because the whole hotel is under video surveillance and also right to remind our luggage storage service is free for our customers and guarded by our staff.
the evil that defames our hotel is unfair because all the staff working in our HOTEL DEL CORSO from the porter to the manager loves his work and try to do the best to make a memorable stay for our guests.
Best regards.

I have stayed in ROME many times and this hotel is a little gem.Excellent value. I could find nothing wrong. The rooms were clean and well furnished. The staff were helpful and friendly especially reception. It is located in the main shopping street and cenrally located for all the usual sightseeing

Room Tip: Talk nice to reception for a room leading out to your own private patio (Room 302) for example.
