“Delicious food off the beaten path”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

This restaurant is located near colosseum down a little side street. Outdoor covered seating area was very nice, service very good, and the food excellent. Pasta carbonara was delish as well as the risotto e funghi. I highly recommend this little restaurant as the food is great and the prices very reasonable.

“Good food, good prices, good people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012 via mobile

Having regularly eaten in their sister restaurant 'Pizzeria Imperiale' around the corner we decided to try this one out, this is a much better restaurant in terms of food, price and service. Their 'sister' tends to get very busy, with the result that quality suffers. This one provided me with one of my highlights for this trip, sautéed misto de pesce, (clams, mussels, squid and prawns) a huge portion with great sauce, and Cacio e pepe. I like simple things but beautiful things and these fitted the bill. Thanks to the staff for their patience with my appalling Italian, and for great service. My daughter had pan fried veg to start and she is now a devotee and my wife Ann thinks their Bolognese is second only to mine (she's probably right too). Grazie Iari.

“Lovely place near the Colosseum, would definitely go again!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

Short walk away from the Colosseum and Palatine Hill on a little side road.
Great food and very good value for money.
Highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting it again on my next trip.
