“Super easy! Great location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

This is my first review on tripadvisor and we travel a lot. But I had to write a review about this place. First off, we are a younger couple and this was our first time in Rome. We arranged through the B&B for pick up at the airport and it was so nice to see our names held up after a long journey! The B&B itself is nothing fancy but well appointed and clean enough. We were kindly greeted and explained how to make our way around the city- all while drinking a capuccino. Our room was ready and after settling in we were off! The B&B has the most amazing location! We walked to the Vartican- about 25 mins, but there is a bus (which we took to the Coloseum and Forum) right outside the hotel that takes you there and the vatican jn about 10 mins. You cannot hail a cab in Rome the way you do in Canada or the US, so the B&B is so conviently located accross the way from a taxi station. The grocery accross the street is amazing- we bought lunch for the days for about $10 euro for two people! There is a secure ATM within a bank accross the street, as well as a bakery you CANNOT miss with traditional Sicilian canollis. If this will be your first time in Rome- we totally recommend staying here!

Heart of Rome is an excellent place to stay in Rome. I stayed with my sister around mid-September and although it took us a while to find it (do NOT use the booking.com directions!) we were so pleased when we did.
We were absolutely blown away by how clean it was, and the rooms themselves. Modern, clean, spacious, beautiful bathrooms and uber-clean linens; we couldn't have asked for more.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Miguele who gave us a map and actually came with us back to the streets to show us where to take buses and how to get to the touristy spots. Very good reception.
There was a wide range of items to choose from for breakfast. No eggs, if that's your preference, but with sausages and cheese, bread, butter, nutella, jams, coffee, milk, hot chocolate to choose from, you'd be more than satisfied.
Located a short bus ride away from the Vatican, and the historical centre also accessible by bus.
I'd definitely stay there again, and indeed wish all B&Bs were as clean, well-staffed, professional and at such good value. Great value for money. You won't have any regrets.

After having stayed at many "bed and breakfast" hotels in Rome I must say that heart of rome has been the best so far. With a very central location, just a 5 minute walk from the Vatican and several other monuments, it provides people traveling to the eternal city a relaxing alternative to the caos of hotels in rome. Brand new rooms and bathrooms all complete with private balcony perfect for enjoying the complimentary breakfast. Also offers a a shuttle service to major airports. A must see on your next visit to Rome

Have just returned from 5 days in Rome, two mums and daughters, fantastic! The Heart of Rome B&B was very comfortable(excellent beds) great, friendly service from the lads..... thank you. It is on a very busy modern piazza and has busy traffic all through the night so noisy, the shower was superb and the patio, a wee oasis to enjoy a bottle of wine......there are wine glasses if you ask for them.I was disappointed with breakfast......good coffee but brittle toast with nutella /cheese and salami and a synthetic cold drink, only had coffee after 1st morning.A croissant would have been wonderful with fresh orange juice. Didn't find the supermarket until the last day which was a shame but the deli/coffee shop at the end of the block was foodie (and wine) heaven. When using the bus/metro the ticket for 1.50 Euro can be used for both within 100 minutes, again only found that out after we paid separately for both.We paid 55 euros each way for the airport transfers but it did make life easier having it organised by Christiano .Thanks guys,we wish you great success with this B&B and the next one you are now getting ready to open.

We stayed at the heart of Rome for 3 nights with our 18 month old toddler in tow. We had the best stay and did not want to go. The staff especially Valerio went above and beyond to make our stay easy and great, recommending food, walking us to the right bus, bringing us a good breakfast and organising a ride to the airport. The room we had was spacious, great to have the private courtyard after a busy day in Rome (watch the Mosquitos though!) the bathroom was big and bed comfy. The road outside is a little noisy even through the thick curtains and heavy door so pack ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Highly recommend!!!

The title pretty much sums it up.My trip got off to a rough start with Alitalia losing my luggage for over 3 days. The staff notably Daitano who was amazing throughout my stay, were extremely instrumental in helping me to finally retreiving my luggage.I stayed in the Vaticano room and found it to be very spacious and clean.I loved the private patio as well. The B+B was fairly well located with a grocery store and local transit very close by.Everyone at the B+B was very friendly and helpful almost to a fault.Christiano took me to the airport, was very gracious and would not take anything for the drive despite the fact that we had to return to the hotel to pick up my wayward cellphone. All in all despite the hassle with the luggage, the Heart of Rome was a great place to stay and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I have been a week in Rome becouse my boyfriend lives in Rome and took me to this wonderful bed and breakfast!!
The staff was very kind and gave us a bottle of champagne for the first night!
The Sistine was our room, the room is very large with a fantastic terrace where we ate breakfast and my boyfriend was smoking ):
We reach the center of Rome in 10 minutes by bus, is very easy to reach the center of Rome!
I'm sure we will return to this bed and breakfast!
