Stayed in the Boscolo Aleph hotel at the end of October 2005. Paid 635 Euro for two nights in a double room, so I was expecting pure luxury based on this pricing. The reception looks cool, the location close to the Spanish Steps is cool, BUT:
The room was sooooooooooo small that it was one big deception. My suggestion is that if you are looking for a nice reception and location, go to the Aleph. But if you are looking for good value for your money, SKIP the Aleph and hopefully you will find a hotel room where you can actually walk. My hotelroom in Aleph was just too small!!

After a three week tour of Europe staying at 4-5 star hotels along the way I have to say that the Boscolo Aleph was the absolute worse! The rooms were so small it was almost hard to move around. I will agree that the rooms in Europe are smaller than those in the state, but this was a closet that was passed off as a DELUXE room.

One of the reasons that we thoght this would be a good hotel as it claimed to be "high" design hotel. It had some design flair but no real substance.

The service was also lacking. It seems that the company mantra was to be aloof and rude. It is a shame since we had such wonderful experiences at our other hotels throughout Italy and this somewhat soured my experience in Rome.

Stayed in the Aleph for a short break in October 2005.
The hotel is set in an excellent location in a smart area within walking distance of all the attractions.

The hotel itself is stylish and modern, and service is of a fairly high standard. Rooms were much smaller than expected, and we were unable to open the window blinds as our room (and bed)could be viewed from other rooms. There was no bath tub in the bathroom, although the bathroom in general was of a high standard. Recommended on the basis that the standard of accomodation in Rome is poor in general, and not good value.

Hello, i am a Italian travell agent, i been to a lot of nice hotels. But i am sorry this is not a good place to stay, is a regular 3star hotel. Very good location in Rome center.
The reception is smoll but very very nice.
I been for 2 nights in a DBL deluxe room 334Euro/night without tax and breakfast (by internet rate), the room is very smoll only 30mq, AC not work very noise in the night and the bathroom not clean.
This is a Boscolo luxury Hotel, if you go in Rome i suggest you stay in anathar Hotel, exemple The Exedra Hotel also by Boscolo group.

We made reservations over two months prior to arrival. We also recieved a conformation letter. They did not have us booked! To add insult to injury they were unsympathetic. After three hours of waiting for a room that was less accomadating than the room we originally reserved. The next morning
we recieved our bill with an extra night charge. We tried to resolve the bill
with Francesca the manager and she provided no help. When we arrived home from our trip we recieved a bill in the mail fom the Aleph with more charges than when we left. these charges were over $500. I would be careful with booking with this hotel they could lose your reservation and i wouldnt trust them with your credit card.
