We stayed at the Aleph for three nights, if you like
particular design, this is the place to stay! Its a
really nice hotel, beautiful entrance and restaurant,
all red and black, very nice decorated, we liked it so much
and would definitely return here! The staff is very friendly
and helpful, the location very good.

If you're expecting to waste all of your money at the hotel, stay at the aleph. I have no complaints about the decor and the staff. The hidden costs blew us away. They don't tell you that the parking is 35 euros a day, the breakfast (that included butter, rolls, left over corn and slices of pie and cereal) is 22 euros. At the bar upstairs, two shots are 50 euros. Also, don't forget your nose plugs because the hallways stink of sewage. We had to hold our breaths and run to the elevator it was so bad!

We just returned from a three-night stay at this hotel. After reading the reviews on this site, I feel like we stayed at an entirely different hotel. The staff was great! When we first arrived, they actually took us up to our room, and gave us a short tour of the hotel so we could get our bearings. Throughout our entire stay, they were very helpful and courteous.

We loved the rooftop bar. Although a little on the expensive side, the atmosphere and the views were well worth the price of the drinks.

And let's talk about location. This hotel is well-situated, in the middle of everything. We were able to walk most places, usually taking a short cab-ride to the furthest place, and working our way back on foot. We were within a couple of blocks of the Spanish Steps, and felt very safe walking there, even in the middle of the night.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you, Aleph, for a great time!

Just returned from Rome staying at the Aleph for 5 days. The hotel is in a perfect location being a 2 minute walk to the Metro line and via veneto (shops& restaurants) The hotel is very modern and the decor is very spectacular indeed. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are clean however a bit on the small side but this seems to be the norm for city hotels. But we didnt go to Rome to sit in the room. The breakfast was included in our package and was very good, Buffet style so you could eat as much as you needed to get you through the day. The only down side was the in hotel prices for the food in the restaurants and even worse was the drink prices, but hey if you dont like it you can go else where with plenty of options just outside the hotel. All in all a very nice hotel.

My husband and i have just returned from a long weekend to Rome, staying at the Boscolo Aleph Hotel. We did arrive before the 2pm checkin and our room wasn't ready. The hotel were happy to look after our bags and throughout our stay found all the staff helpful and pleasant. The hotel is small, but nice. Not necessarily worth the money it cost us for 3 nights, approx £500, and that didn't include breakfast. The rooms are small but clean and nicely decorated. Excellent housekeeping service and a safe is provided free in your room, i suggest you use it just to be secure. My husband used the Spa, the pool is very shallow and not really for swimming, it really is just to float and relax. they offer many treatments but they are expensive. There is a lovely Rooftop terrace which opens at 6pm every evening (provided the weather is fine). The view from the terrace is amazing and its a lovely place to relax and have a drink before dinner. WARNING the drinks are VERY expensive, my bacardi and coke was 15 euros and husbands beer was 12 euros. You do get as much free canapes as you want with your drink, but still........

Location wise the hotel is ideal for walking to all the tourist sights except the Vatican. The hotel will order you a cab and it cost us 10euros. the street behind the hotel called the Via Vineto is where all the nice bars and restaurants are and its worth taking a walk up to the Villa Borgese Gardens. Via del Corso is a short walk from the hotel with the Colloseum and Trevi Fountain near. We had an amazing time in Rome and the hotel was nice, but i don't think we would stay there again. There are bigger hotels in the same area with more facilities, which probably cost less.
