Good, clean and friendly hotel. Air con included and good sized rooms. Instant and powerful hot shower, plenty of storage but no safe. However there is a safe at reception.
Like most hotels in Rome, there are 3 different hotels in the same building but on different floors. Shops/cafes on the ground floor and hotels above. This one was on the 3rd floor, however there is a lift.
Breakfast was included and consisted of cereal; Pastries; salami; rolls; cheese; fruit juice - buffet style.
Good area with coffee bar close by if needed. You can pick up filled rolls from Termini train station downstairs in the supermarket on the right. They are half the price of anywhere else and freshly made each day.
Also a good idea to get a Roma pass for 3 days, you will get your money back if you only do the Colosseum; Paladin and the metro there and back to the Vatican.
Book Vatican tickets on-line direct with them. Only 4 euros each more and you skip the queues and can pick up a guide book inside for 8 euros that you can take with you!
Be careful of ordering tea and coffee outside of breakfast times, you will get charged for it, however it is only 2 euros so not expensive and the staff are very helpful.
We will stay there again when we return!
