We stayed here for 3 days. It is very centrally located to most of the main tourist attractions. My husband and I walked to pretty much EVERYTHING. If we didn't walk, we rode the 110, tourist bus. Not being an avid walker or exercise enthusiast, it was really close to most of the hot spots and easy to get around. Only about 15 mins from the Colosseum, 10 mins to the Repubblica, about 20 mins to Fontana di Trevi. If you like to walk, you could walk to the Vatican City and see all the other sites on the way, but might be a 45min to hour walk. Just 2 blocks from the Termini, which houses all public transportation if you don't want to walk, including the 110 tourist bus which I highly recommend using.
The hotel itself was clean and the staff was very friendly and willing to help out. At the end of our stay, my husband and I were trying to figure things out and kept bugging the gentleman at the front desk...I think he was trying to get a lot of work done and was getting irritated with all my questions, but he was always nice and helped me out. We had a few issues with our room, but nothing major. The toilet seat was mounted on crooked so that was always driving me crazy. The room is small by American standards, but there is room to move around. The bed was firm, but seemed new and easy to sleep. Even close to the Termini, it was quiet with the windows open and never heard our neighbors. They say the rooms have AC...they do, but they charge extra. There was a ceiling fan, so we never needed the AC. They do have wireless, but you have to go to a different room to use it. The signal is not strong enough for the guest rooms. The photos are a little deceiving, but none the less, it was a clean hotel and friendly staff. Even with some of the flaws, we would probably stay there if we visit Rome again.
